SSC Stenographer 2024: The recruitment notification for Stenographer Grade ‘C’ (Group ‘B’, NonGazetted) and Stenographer Grade ‘D’ (Group ‘C’) positions was uploaded by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) on 26th July. The online registration period began on 26th July and the deadline for applications is 24th August 2024.
The recruitment will be conducted for about 2006 positions in various Ministries/Departments/Organizations, including their Attached offices, Subordinate offices, and Statutory bodies of the Government of India located in various States and Union Territories.
Candidates who have passed the 12th grade and are between the ages of 18 and 30 are eligible to apply for the SSC Stenographer Jobs 2024. However, those interested in Grade D positions should be between the ages of 18 and 27.

There is a Computer Based Test (CBT) exam as part of the SSC Stenographer selection procedure. A call for the Stenography Skill Test will be made to the candidates who pass the CBT exam. Upon selection, the selected candidates will undergo a medical examination and document verification.
The computer-based test mode for the SSC Stenographer Recruitment 2024 written exam will be available from October to November of that year. 50 questions on reasoning, 50 questions on general awareness, and 100 questions on general English and comprehension make up the written exam. There is one mark for each question. The exam will take two hours to complete. With a 1/3rd negative marking, every incorrect response will result in the deduction of 0.33 marks.
