SCI Recruitment 2023: The Office of Branch Officer (Recruitment), Supreme Court of India (SCI) has called in Applications from Experienced Candidates Eligible for 01 (One) Post Director (Library) to be filled up as is notified in the SCI Recruitment 2023 Advertisement. According to the SCI Recruitment 2023 Notification, The Willing Candidates Eligible for SCI Director (Library) Post may apply in the Prescribed Application Proforma up to the Last Date 31st March 2023 (31.03.2023) notified in the Supreme Court of India Recruitment 2023 Notification.
According to the SCI Recruitment 2023 Notification, the Last Date notified for the Candidates’ duly completed Application receivable latest by 31st March 2023 (31.03.2023).

According to the SCI Recruitment 2023 Notification, the Candidates post-Selection will be entitled to the Pay Scale explained hereunder:
Pay Scale: Level 13 of the Pay Matrix with Initial Basic Pay of Rs.123100 Plus other Allowances as admissible under the Rules.
As notified in the SCI Recruitment 2023 Advertisement, the Candidate, as on 01.03.2023, should be aged hereunder:
Not to exceed 40 Years
Educational and Professional Qualifications:
I. A Bachelor of Legal Laws (LL.B.) from the Accredited University in India recognized by the Bar Council of India (BCI) or by any State Bar Council for Enrolment as an Advocate.
II. Master’s Degree in Library Science (M.L.I.Sc) from the Accreted University.
III. Diploma in Computer Application recognized by AICTE/DOEACC or Equivalent or Library Automation Course conducted by the National Institute of Science Communication and Information Resources.
IV. Knowledge of Computer Operation comprising as follows:
a) Knowledge and Experience of working with any Standard “Library Automation Software” for Housekeeping activities in the Library, such as Cataloging, Acquisition and Circulation, etc.,
b) Knowledge and Experience of Computerized Search both of Online and Offline Databases including Retrieval of desired Information through various Search Engines/Processes and
c) Knowledge and Experience of any Software for developing In-House Databases for Documentation Work.
V. Specialized knowledge in:
a) Conducting Research Work regarding Legal Matters,
b) Documentation Work,
c) Preparing of Bibliography of Cases,
d) Examination and dissemination of Legal Articles published in various Law Journals.
Work Experience:
I) Minimum 04-Years’ Experience as Chief Librarian or in an Equivalent Post (in Level 12 of Pay Matrix) in any prestigious Library preferably a Law Library; Or
II) Minimum 07-Years’ Composite Experience with Minimum 02-Years’ Experience as Chief Librarian; Or in an Equivalent Post (in Level 12 of Pay Matrix) and as Librarian (in Level 11 of the Pay Matrix) Or in an equivalent post in any prestigious Library preferably a Law Library.
Suitable Candidates would be shortlisted for the Selection Process. Candidate’s suitability shall be determined based on their Performance in the 1) Computer Test and 2) Interview.
The Shortlisted Candidates will need to appear for a Computer Test followed by an Interview for Final Selection Process.
The Registry reserves its right to shortlist Applicants in any manner as may be considered appropriate with the Competent Authority’s Approval.
As per the SCI Recruitment 2023 Notification, Eligible Candidates with Willingness, deemed to have fulfilled the Prescribed Qualifications, Experience, Age Requirement and other Eligibility Conditions as on 01.03.2023 should fill up the Application Proforma, furnishing Complete Particulars including Date of Birth, Educational Qualifications, Specialized Knowledge and Experience supported by Self-attested Copies of all the relevant Certificates and a Passport-size Photograph.
