Post and Vacancy Details for TSPSC Recruitment 2023:

TSPSC notified 71 Vacancies are to be filled in respect of the Candidates to be issued Appointments post-Selection as per the TSPSC Recruitment 2023 Notification:

Pay Scale Level under the TSPSC Recruitment 2023:

The Candidates post-Selection shall be issued Appointment as per the Pay Scales mentioned in the Tabular Forms notified vide TSPSC Recruitment 2023 Advertiseemnt.

Upper Age Limits for TSPSC Recruitment 2023:

1) The Open Merit Candidate (as on 01.07.2022) should have attained Minimum 18 Years and must not exceed 44 Years.

2) Relaxation in the Upper Age Limits for Reserved Community Candidates as may be read in the TSPSC Recruitment 2023.

3)  Telangana State Government Employees (Employees of TSRTC, Corporations, Municipalities etc. are not eligible) up to 49 Years.

4) Ex-Service-Men Candidates up to 47 Years.

5) N.C.C. (who have worked as Instructor in N.C.C.) up to 47 Years.

6) SC/ST/BCs & Economically Weaker Section up to 49 Years.

7) Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBDs) up to 50 Years.

Educational Qualifications for TSPSC Recruitment 2023:

To be considered Eligible as Applicant for the Selection Process, the Candidates should have gained the Bachelor’s/Master’s explained in light of the TSPSC Recruitment 2023 hereunder:

01) Librarian in Intermediate Education:

A Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Science/Commerce and a Post-Graduate Degree in Library Science with 1st or 2nd Class with Minimum 50% Marks from a university in India established or incorporated by of under a Central Act/State Act/a Provincial Act/any Institute Accredited by the University Grants Commission/any Equivalent Qualification.

02) Librarian in Technical Education:

Pay Scale Level 9A:

 Master’s Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation Science/any Equivalent Professional Degree with Minimum 1st Class/its Equivalent and consistently good academic record with Knowledge of Computerization of Library.  Qualifying in the National Level Test conduct for the purpose by the University Grants Commission or other Equivalent Test as approved by the University Grants Commission vide the TSPSC Recruitment 2023 Advertisement.

Pay Scale Level-10:

A Master’s Degree with 1st Class or Equivalent and have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET)

conducted by the University Grans Commission (UGC)/ The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) or any similar Test accredited by the University Grans Commission, viz., State Level Eligibility Test/Common Entrance Test/Philosophiae Doctor (Ph.D.).

Selection Process under TSPSC Recruitment 2023:

Eligible Candidates’ Selection for Appointment to the Post Librarian s will be carried through by way of Objective-Type Written Examination by Computer-Based Recruitment Test/ OMR Answer Sheet Based consisting of 02 Papers for aggregate 450 Marks. Selection of the Candidates for the Librarian Posts will be based on the Marks secured in the Written Examination.

3) The Candidates having been declared Successful Qualifying in the Written Examination in order of merit will be called for Certificates’ Verification, Category and Community-wise for the Vacancies available as required. The Minimum Qualifying Marks for Selection of the Candidates shall be as follows:

i) Open Category, Sportsmen and Economically Weaker Section: Minimum Qualifying 40% Marks.

ii) Backward Communities: Minimum Qualifying 35% Marks.

iii) SCs, STs and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities: 30% Marks.

Fee Structure and Payment Mode for TSPSC Recruitment 2023:

The Applicants should pay the Application/Exam Fee through any Payment Gateway, i.e., Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking.

i) Application Processing Fee: Rs.200 (Rupees Two Hundred Only) towards the Online Application Processing Fee.

ii) Examination Fee: Rs.120 (Rupees One Hundred and Twenty Only) towards the Examination Fee.

Note:

a) All Un-Employees remain Exempted from payment of the Examination Fee.

b) All Employees of any Government (Central/State/Public Sector Undertakings/ Corporations/Other Government Sectors) need to pay the prescribed Examination Fee Rs.120 (Rupees One Hundred and Twenty Only) only.
