UPPSC PCS 2023: The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) successfully completed the application process for the UPPSC Provincial Civil Service (PCS) exam 2023. The last date to pay the application fee and the online application submission was 10th April 2023. As the exam date for the UPPSC PCS Prelims exam is approaching near, candidates are eagerly awaiting the admit card release. Going with the trend it is expected that the Commission will release the UPPSC PCS admit card around two weeks before the exam. As the Preliminary exam is on Sunday, 14th May 2023, the admit card for the Preliminary exam is expected to be released by 30th April 2023.
The UPPSC PCS 2023 is being conducted to fill approximately 173 vacancies for the Combined State / Upper Subordinate Services (PCS). These vacancies are tentative and depending on the circumstances/requirements, the number of vacancies may increase or decrease. Candidates will have to carry along their original ID proof along with the admit card on the exam day. Without the Admit card and ID proof, candidates will not be permitted to appear for the UPPSC PCS Prelims exam 2023.

The UPPSC PCS 2023 preliminary examination will be held on May 14, 2023. The UPPSC PCS preliminary exam will have two papers. Only Paper 1 will be used to create the merit list. Paper 2 is a qualifying exam in which applicants must score at least 33% to be considered qualified. If a candidate fails to earn the requisite marks in the prelims Paper 2, he or she will not be considered for the next round. Both exams will take place on the same day.
