UPSC Recruitment 2023: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is looking for eligible Indian candidates to fill out the post of Aeronautical Officer, Principal Civil Hydrographic Officer, Senior Administrative Officer Grade-II, Scientist ‘B’ and Assistant Geophysicist. There are 26 seats available for the mentioned position. In accordance with the official notification of UPSC Recruitment 2023, the candidates should have a degree in Aeronautical or Electrical Electronics or Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering from a recognized University, a degree in Engineering in Civil or Computer Science or Information Technology or a Masters’s Degree in Mathematics or Geography or Geophysics or Computer Applications or Computer Science or Information Technology or Pass in the final examination of the institution of surveyors in subdivision (B) Hydrographic surveying, bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university or institution, Master’s Degree in Science in the required Discipline (Botany/Horticulture/Organic Chemistry) from a recognized University or equivalent and Master’s Degree in Physics or Geophysics or Geology or Mathematics from a recognized University or Institute or AMIE in Electronics or Communication from a recognized University or Institute.

In accordance with the official notification of UPSC Recruitment 2023, the minimum and maximum experience required for the posts is 01 to 03 years. The minimum and maximum age limit of the candidate should be 35 to 40 years. The appropriate pay scale is based on the role listed in the article. Candidates need to pay an application fee of Rs. 25, and candidates belonging to the female/SC/ST/ Person with Benchmark disability category are exempted from payment of the fee. In accordance with the official notification of UPSC Recruitment 2023, the eligible Indian candidates to fill out the post of Aeronautical Officer in Directorate General of Civil Aviation and Ministry of Civil Aviation, Principal Civil Hydrographic Officer in Integrated Headquarters, Directorate of Civilian Personnel, Ministry of Defence (Navy), Senior Administrative Officer Grade-II in Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), Department of Defence Research and Development, Ministry of Defence, Scientist ‘B’ in Botanical Survey of India, Kolkata, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change and Assistant Geophysicist in Geological Survey of India, Ministry of Mines. There are 26 seats available for the mentioned position.

Qualification for UPSC Recruitment 2023:

  • Aeronautical Officer- Degree in Aeronautical or Electrical or Electronics or Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering from a recognized University.

Experience for UPSC Recruitment 2023:

  • Aeronautical Officer
    Essential Experience– 02 years experience in aircraft design and development including aircraft electrical or electronics or mechanical systems or airworthiness engineering.
    Desirable Experience– 01-year experience in aeronautical research and development or design or laboratory investigation of failed aircraft parts or Flight Recorders involved in accident or incident or Airworthiness Engineering.
  • Principal Civil Hydrographic Officer-
    Essential Experience– 03 years of experience in Nautical Chart Compilation and Digital Cartography.
    Desirable Experience– 01 year of experience in the application of geographical information system technology.
  • Senior Administrative Officer Grade-II– 03 years’ experience in administration or establishment or accounts work.
  • Scientist ‘B’- Experience in research/teaching in the relevant field.
