UPSC Recruitment 2023: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is inviting applications from eligible Indian candidates for the post of Aeronautical Officer, Principal Civil Hydrographic Officer, Senior Administrative Officer Grade-II, Scientist ‘B’ and Assistant Geophysicist. As per the UPSC Recruitment 2023 official notification, there are 56 vacancies. Selected candidates for the above-mentioned will get a monthly salary on a pay scale level 10 and the candidates selected from the post of Assistant Geophysicist will get a monthly salary on a pay scale level 08.
As per the UPSC Recruitment 2023 official notification, candidates applying for the above-mentioned job post should be below the age of 35 years and the candidates applying for the Assistant Geophysicist should be below the of 40 years. Candidates applying for the above-mentioned job post have to pay Rs. 25 as application fees. Candidates belonging to Female/SC/ST/Persons with Benchmark Disability Candidates are exempted from payment of a fee. Mention below is the qualification required for UPSC Recruitment 2023:
Aeronautical Officer
Candidates should have a Degree in Aeronautical or Electrical or Electronics or Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering from a recognized University.
Principal Civil Hydrographic Officer
Candidates should have a Degree in Engineering in Civil or Computer Science or Information Technology OR Masters Degree in Mathematics or Geography or Geophysics or Computer Applications or Computer Science or Information Technology OR Pass in the final examination of the institution of surveyors in subdivision1(B) Hydrographic surveying
Senior Administrative Officer Grade-II
Candidates should have Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university or institution.
Scientist ‘B’
Candidates should have a Master’s Degree in Science in the required Discipline (i.e. Botany/Horticulture/Organic Chemistry) from a recognized University or equivalent.
Assistant Geophysicist
Candidates should have a Master’s Degree in Physics or Geophysics or Geology or Mathematics from a recognized University or Institute; OR BE or AMIE in Electronics or Communication from a recognized University or Institute.
As per the UPSC Recruitment 2023 official notification, selected candidates for the above-mentioned will get a monthly salary on a pay scale level 10 and the candidates selected from the post of Assistant Geophysicist will get a monthly salary on a pay scale level 08.

Mention below is the experience Required for UPSC Recruitment 2023:
Aeronautical Officer
Candidates should have Two years experience in aircraft design and development including aircraft electrical or electronics or mechanical systems or airworthiness engineering. Candidates having One year experience in aeronautical research and development or design or laboratory investigation of failed aircraft parts or Flight Recorders involved in accidents or incidents or Airworthiness Engineering will be given preference.
Principal Civil Hydrographic Officer
Candidates should have Three years of experience in Nautical Chart Compilation and Digital Cartography. [Experience should be from Government or autonomous organization or statutory body or public sector undertaking or University or recognized research institution]. Candidates having a Certificate or diploma in a foreign language, preferably French, and One year of experience in the application of geographical information system technology will be preferred.
Senior Administrative Officer Grade-II
Candidates should have Three years’ experience of administration or establishment or accounts work.
Scientist ‘B’
Candidates should have Experience in research/teaching in the relevant field. (i.e. Taxonomy Angiosperm/Bryophytes/Lichens/Fungi/Algae or Molecular taxonomy) and Knowledge of Latin/German/French/ Russian.
