The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced that the World Forum of Accountants (WOFA) 2026 will be inaugurated by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.

ICAI Releases New Guidance Note on Section 92E Transfer Pricing Report

ICAI made the announcement through a post on its official social media handle on X, stating that WOFA 2026 will be inaugurated on Wednesday, December 16, 2026, at the ICAI Convention Arena, Beachfront, Rushikonda, Visakhapatnam.

The three-day global forum will be held in Visakhapatnam from December 16 to 18, 2026. The event is expected to bring together professionals from the accounting and finance sectors for a series of discussions, sessions and deliberations centred on technology, trust and transformation in the profession.

ICAI has also announced that the early-bird registration window will remain open until August 31, 2026. Interested participants can register before the deadline to take advantage of the early-bird benefits.
