Banks will be closed for four days starting on Saturday owing to a weekly holiday and a bank strike. In a notice to the stock exchange, State Bank of India stated that while the bank has made essential plans to guarantee normal operation of its branches and offices during the strike days, it is feared that the strike may have an impact on the bank’s operations to some extent.

Online banking will remain in operation

During the strike, online banking will be available. You will be able to do financial transactions online with this. However, due to the bank’s four-day closure, there may be a cash shortage at the ATM.

In April, banks will be closed for 15 days. Banks will be closed for 9 days in various parts of the country for various reasons. Aside from these, banks will be closed on four Sundays and two Saturdays.
