Ministry of Labour and Employment Recruitment 2023: The Ministry of Labour and Employment (MoLE), Government of India, has called in Applications of the Willing Officers meeting the Eligibility for appointment on Presiding Officer Post at a Monthly Pay Rs.225000 (Fixed) in various National Industrial Tribunals in Mumbai or Kolkata.

The Registrar, High Court/Ministry of Law and Justice may forward the Applications of the Eligible and willing Officers within the Timeline notified vide Ministry of Labor and Employment Recruitment 2023 Notification. The Last Date for receipt of the Duly completed Applications of the Eligible Candidates is 20th January 2023 (20.01.2023).

Eligibility for Ministry of Labour and Employment Recruitment 2023:

The Judge of a High Court may hold the Post Presiding Officer of the National Industrial Tribunal. The Candidate appointed as Presiding Officer shall be paid a Fixed Pay Rs.225000 Per Month. Other Terms and Conditions of the Appointment of Presiding Officer will remain as prescribed from time to time by Government of India. The Presiding Officer appointed so shall continue till attaining 65 Years’ Age as has been mentioned in the Ministry of Labour and Employment Recruitment 2023 Notification.

Selection Criteria for Ministry of Labour and Employment Recruitment 2023:

The Search-cum-Section Committee constituted under the Tribunal Reforms Act 2021 for recommending the names for Appointment to the Post of Presiding Officer, shall carry through Scrutiny of the Applications with respect to Suitability of Applicants for the said Posts by according due Weightage to the Officer Candidate’s Qualification and Experience to shortlisting as has been explained in the Ministry of Labor and Employment Recruitment 2023 Notification. The Candidates shortlisted would be summoned for attending the Personal Interaction.

Final Selection of the Candidates as Presiding Officer will be carried through based on overall Evaluation of Candidates conducted by the Committee on the basis of the Individual Persons’ Qualifications, Experience and Personal Interaction.

The Willing Eligible Officer should visit the Official Website of Ministry of Labour and Employment to download the Annexures to be filled in for Submission vide the Ministry of Labor and Employment Recruitment 2023 Advertisement.

Applications of Eligible and Willing routed through Registrar, High Court/ Ministry of Law and Justice and should be accompanied with the following:

i) Curriculum Vitae/Bio-Data in the Prescribed Specimen Application Proforma at Annexure-I

ii) Certificate furnished by the Employer/Head of Office/Forwarding Authority as in Annexure-II

iii) Clear Photocopies of the up-to-date Confidential Report Dossier/Annual Performance Appraisal Report of the Officer containing CRs/APARs of Last 05 Years duly attested by a Group ‘A’ Officer

iv) Cadre Clearance

v) Integrity Certificate/Clearance from Vigilance and Disciplinary Angle as in Annexure-III

vi) Statement giving details of Major or Minor Penalties, if any, imposed on the Officer during the Last 10 Years to be dispatched addressed to Shri S.R. Datta, Deputy Secretary, Room No. 318, Ministry of Labour and Employment, Shram Shakti Bhawan, New Delhi 110 001.
