GST Department inspects Adani Wilmar over allegations of GST Evasion
Late on Wednesday, representatives of the Himachal Pradesh State Excise Department examined an Adani Group facility in Parwanoo. The carrying and forward (C&F) unit of the Adani Wilmar firm, headquartered in Solan, was examined by state department representatives.
The incident occurred the day after Rahul Gandhi, the leader of the Congress, criticized the BJP for its support of the Adani Group in Parliament.
According to preliminary information, the examination was done because the business had repeatedly neglected to submit GST revenue. The officials examined the unit’s records and other items within the building. According to officials, they will create a report after which the next line of action will be decided.
