ICFRE Recruitment 2023: Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education (ICFRE) has released a notification regarding hiring candidates for the post of Research Associate on a contract basis. As per the ICFRE Recruitment 2023 official notification, there are 05 vacancies. Selected candidates will be appointed for a tenure of 01 years.

Research Associate (RS-GIS)
Candidates should have a Doctorate degree or 3 years of research/teaching experience after post-graduation (I Class) in RS-GIS-related subjects from a recognized University/Institute and good knowledge of MS Office. Candidates having Proven records of proficiency in using RS-GIS tools, satellite image processing, use of ERDAS, ArcGIS or QGIS, and mapping of land use and land degradation. will be given preference.
Research Associate (Biodiversity)
Candidates should have a Doctorate degree or have 3 year of research/teaching experience after post-graduation (I Class) in Botany/ Forestry/ Environmental Science Environmental Management/ Life Sciences from a recognized University, as well as good knowledge of MS Office.
Research Associate (Land Resources)
Candidates should have a Doctorate degree or having 3-year of research/teaching experience after post-graduation (I Class) in Soil Science/ Soil Science & Agricultural Chemistry / Natural Resource Management from a recognized University as well as good knowledge of MS Office.
Research Associate (Climate Change)
Candidates should have a Doctorate degree or have 3 year of research/teaching experience after post-graduation (I Class) in Botany/ Forestry/ Environmental Science/ Environmental Management from a recognized University/ Institute as well as good knowledge of MS Office.
Research Associate (Social Science)
Candidates should have a Doctorate degree or have 3 years of research/teaching experience after post-graduation (I Class) in Social Science/Agricultural Economics/ Agricultural Extension/Agricultural Statistics from a recognized University/ Institute as well as good knowledge of MS Office.
As per the ICFRE Recruitment 2023 official notification, the maximum age limit for this job post is 35 years.
Selected candidates will be appointed for a tenure of 01 years.
