NTPC Recruitment 2023: NTPC has launched a Special Recruitment Drive for SC/OBC candidates, offering two positions each for Assistant Engineer (Operation) in Electrical and Mechanical disciplines, as well as two positions for Medical Specialist (General Medicine). Candidates applying for the Assistant Engineer (Operation) positions should possess a degree in Engineering in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics/Electrical, Instrumentation & Control/Power Systems & High Voltage/Power Electronics/Power Engineering or Mechanical Production/Industrial Engg/Production & Industrial Engg/Thermal Mechanical & Automation/Power Engineering from a recognized University/Institution, with a minimum of 1-year post-qualification experience (excluding training period, if any) in operation/maintenance/erection/construction engineering in thermal or gas power plants. As per NTPC Recruitment 2023 official notification, The upper age limit for these positions is 35 years, and the pay scale for recruitment is Rs. 30,000 – 1,20,000/- (EO grade) at the basic pay of Rs. 30,000/-.
For the Medical Specialist (General Medicine) positions, candidates should have an MBBS degree with an MD/DNB (General Medicine) qualification recognized by the National Medical Commission (formerly the Medical Council of India). For the E4 grade, candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in general medical practice after MD/DNB (General Medicine), while fresh MD/DNB (General Medicine) candidates will be considered for the E3 grade. The upper age limit for these positions is 42 years, and the pay scale is E3: Rs. 60,000-1,80,000 & E4: Rs 70,000-2,00,000. According to the NTPC Recruitment 2023 official notification, interested candidates should apply online through the NTPC website with no application fee required for this recruitment. The last date for online application is 19.05.2023, and eligible candidates are required to go through the full set of advertisements and agree to all the conditions given while applying.

For the post of Assistant Engineer (Operation) in Mechanical discipline, candidates must have a degree in engineering in Mechanical Production/Industrial Engg. Production & Industrial Engg/Thermal Mechanical & Automation/ Power Engineering from a recognized University/Institution. For the post of Medical Specialist (General Medicine), candidates must have an MBBS with an MD/DNB (General Medicine) qualification recognized by the National Medical Commission (formerly Medical Council of India).
As per NTPC Recruitment 2023 official notification, for the Assistant Engineer (Operation) posts, candidates must have a minimum of 01-year post-qualification experience (excluding training period, if any) in Operation/Maintenance (Erection/Construction Engineering in Thermal or Gas Power Plant). For the Medical Specialist (General Medicine) post, candidates must have a minimum of 1-year experience in practice after MD/DNB (General Medicine) for E4 grade. For the E3 grade, fresh MD/DNB (General Medicine) candidates can apply.
As per NTPC Recruitment 2023 official notification, For the Assistant Engineer (Operation) posts, the pay scale for recruitment is Rs. 30,000 – 1,20,000/- (EO grade) at the basic pay of Rs. 30,000/-. For the Medical Specialist (General Medicine) post, the pay scale for the E3 grade is Rs. 60,000-1,80,000, and for the E4 grade, it is Rs. 70,000-2,00,000.
