• The candidates should have B.Ed (Special Education) in aggregate or equivalent CGPA from a recognized University or B.Ed (Special Education) in any subject other than special education and 02 years Diploma in special education from a recognized University.

Desirable:

• Those having the qualifications of Special B.Ed (Learning Disability) and adequate experience to handle differently able students, particularly students with learning disability will be preferred.

Prep. Teachers:

• The candidates should pass in Senior Secondary/ Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination or Intermediate or its equivalent.
• The candidates should have Diploma in Nursery Teachers Education, Pre-School Education/ Early Childhood Education Programme (D.EI.C.Ed.) or their equivalent or B.Ed. (Nursery) from National Council for Teacher Education recognized Institution, English as a subject at +2. The candidates should have Proficiency in teaching English medium is essential.

PRTs:

• The candidates should have passed in Senior Secondary/ Higher Secondary School Certificate Test or Intermediate or its equivalent with English as a subject at +2 level and 02 years Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EI.Ed.) from a recognized Institution.
