NIA Recruitment 2023: The Office of Superintendent of Police, National Investigation Agency (NIA), Head Quarter, New Delhi, Ministry of Home Affairs (Government of India) has called in Nominations in respect of the Officer Eligible for Superintendent of Police on Absorption/ Deputation Basis vide the NIA Recruitment 2023 Official Notification Dated 07.07.2023.  According to the NIA Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement, the Officers meeting the Desirable Eligibility for NIA Superintendent of Police for Selection on Absorption/Deputation Basis may volunteer the Applications routed through Proper Channel for filling up 08 Deputationist Posts of Superintendent of Police for All India Service Liability. The NIA Recruitment 2023 Official Notification has arisen for 08 Vacancies to be filled up on Deputation/Absorption Basis.  Based on the NIA Recruitment 2023 Official Vacancy Notice, 08 Vacancies comprise 04 Vacancies each for filling up on Deputation/Absorption Basis.

Based on the NIA Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Last Date for receipt of Volunteer Officers’ Nomination is 45th Day from issuance of the NIA Recruitment 2023 Official Notification in the Employment Newspaper. The Applications received from the Candidates Not in accordance with the NIA Recruitment 2023 Official Notification shall not be processed for the Selection Purpose.

Monthly Remuneration under NIA Recruitment 2023:

According to the NIA Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, Appropriately Suitable Candidate shall be entitled to Monthly Remuneration as explained hereunder:

Pay Scale: Pay Matrix Level 12 [(78800-209200) (Pre-Revised Pay Band-3 (Rs.15600-39100) Plus Grade Pay Rs.7600]

The NIA Recruitment 2023 Official Vacancy Notice has mandated the Maximum Age in respect of the Officer, as follows:

Eligibility for NIA Recruitment 2023:

According to the NIA Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, Eligibility for Superintendent of Police comprising the Educational Qualification, Experience, etc., Mandatory is explained hereunder:

I) Brief Essential Criteria:

Educational Qualification: Graduation/Bachelor’s Degree

Experience: Minimum 10 Years Experience in handling Criminal Investigation Cases or Intelligence Work or Counter Terrorism.

II) Detailed Essential Criteria:

Eligibility Criteria for Deputation to the NIA:

a) Officials of the Indian Police Service Empaneled for holding the Superintendent of Police Level Posts at the Centre; Or

b) The Officers under Central/State Government Department/Union Territory

i) holding Analogous Posts on Regular Bases in the Parent Cadre or Department; Or

ii) With 05 Years’ Service in the Grade rendered Post-Appointment thereto on a Regular Basis in the Posts Pay Band-3 (Rs.15600-39100) Plus Grade Pay Rs.6600 Or Equivalent in the Parent Cadre/Department; And

10 Years’ Experience in handling Cases of Investigation of Criminal Cases, Or Intelligence Work including Counter-Terrorism Operations or Imparting Training in Counter-Terrorism.

Posts in the Prescribed Pay Scales and with Requisite and Relevant Experience as well as Minimum Prescribed Desirable Experience explained against the Posts in the Appended Vacancy.

Selection Process under NIA Recruitment 2023:

As may be referred to the NIA Recruitment 2023 Official Memo Selection for Absorptionist/Deputationist Appointment Selection on the Superintendent of Police shall be carried through by Viva-voce/Interview.  Appropriately Suitable Officers would be selected for Superintendent of Police on Absorption/Deputation Basis.

The Period of Deputation Including the Deputation Period in another Ex-Cadre Post held immediately preceding this Appointment in the same or some other Organization/Department of the Central Government, shall ordinarily not exceed 03 Years for the Additional Regional Officer notified thereby.

Deputation Basis: The Pay and other Terms and Conditions of Deputation of the Officer(s) selected, will be regulated in accordance with the Provisions contained in the DoPT (Department of Personnel & Training) Office Memorandum Number 06/08/2009-Establishment (Pay-II) Dated 17.06.2010, and Office Memorandum No. 02/11/2017-Establishment (Pay-II)Dated 24.11.2017 and 15.03.2021 as amended from to time.

Application Procedure for NIA Recruitment 2023:

The NIA Recruitment 2023 Official Notification mandates the Eligible Officers to apply Before or On 45th Date from issuance of the Recruitment Notification in the Employment Newspaper.

The NIA Recruitment 2023 Official Notification mandates the Concerned Authorities in the Government/Ministerial Departments/Institutions/ Officers to apply in the Prescribed Specimen Proforma.

Duly Completed Applications (Detailed Résumé/Curriculum Vitae) accompanying all the Testimonials appertaining Educational Qualification, comprising Essential Bachelor’s Degree, the Cadre Controlling Authority issued Cadre Clearance Certificate starting “in the event of Selection, the Officer shall be relieved Immediately”.

The Cadre Controlling Authority/Administrative Officer may forward duly completed Applications with the following:

i) Up-to-date APAR Dossier of the Last Five Years. All Photostat of APARs may be forwarded duly attested by an Officer Not Below the Rank of Under
Secretary or Equivalent;

ii) Vigilance Clearance (VC);

iii) Statement indicating whether any Minor/Major Penalty was imposed or not during Last 10 Years;

iv) Integrity Certificate (IC)

v) Cadre Clearance
