As per the official notification of OIL Recruitment 2023, applicants are invited for the posts of  Electrical Supervisor,  Assistant Rig Electrician,  Assistant Fitter,  Assistant Diesel Mechanic, Rig Maintenance Assistant and Assistant Mechanic-Pump/ Assistant Mechanic-ICE. There are 69 vacant seats available for the aforementioned position.

Qualifications and Experience for OIL Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of OIL Recruitment 2023, the required qualifications and experiences are listed below:

For Electrical Supervisor-

• Class 10 from Government Recognized Education Board.
• 03 years Diploma in Electrical Engineering discipline from Government Recognized Polytechnic.
• Valid Electrical Supervisory Certificate of Competency with authorization for Part- 1, 2, 3, 4  and 8(Mining) issued by Electrical Licensing Board, Government of Assam.
• Minimum 03 years post qualification relevant work experience in Drilling / Workover Rig with expertise in carrying out fault-finding analysis, rectification of fault, operation and maintenance of all the electrical equipment of Drilling/ Workover Rig.

For Assistant Rig Electrician-

• Class 10 from Government Recognized Education Board.
• 02 years course in Electrician Trade from Government Recognized Institute.
• Valid Electrical Workman’s Permit with authorization for Part-I and II issued by Electrical Licensing Board, Government of Assam.
• Minimum 02 years post qualification relevant work experience in operation and maintenance of electrical equipment in Drilling / Workover Rig with proper knowledge and skills in reading circuits, communicating, detecting, and rectifying faults.

For Assistant Fitter-

• Class 10 from Government Recognized Education Board.
• Trade certificate in Fitter trade from Government Recognized Institute.
• Minimum 02 years post qualification work experience in maintenance of Centrifugal pump sets/Iron Removal (IR) filters/Fabrication of pipeline jobs/Water Supply set up/ maintenance of mechanical workshop setup or Installation in Govt. / Semi Govt./ PSU / Public Limited Organizations.

For Assistant Diesel Mechanic-

• Class 10 from Government Recognized Education Board.
• Trade certificate in Diesel Mechanic Trade from Government Recognized Institute.
• Minimum 02 years post qualification work experience in maintenance of diesel or gas engines/ reciprocating or centrifugal pump sets/ reciprocating or screw air compressors in the Oil and Gas Industry.

For Rig Maintenance Assistant-

• Class 10 from Government Recognized Education Board.
• Trade certificate in any trade from Government Recognized Institute.
• Minimum 04 years post qualification relevant experience of working in drilling rigs as topman/floorman/ maintenance crew.
• Knowledge and experience of working at heights like crown-block, assembling and dismantling of drilling rig mast & substructure, and Placement & maintenance of the mud-tank system are essential. Preference will be given to those with drilling rig work experience in maintenance activities of Draw-works, solid-control equipment including screen replacement, Pneumatic and Hydraulic Rig Floor equipment and their connections.

For Assistant Mechanic-Pump/ Assistant Mechanic-ICE-

• Class 10 from Government Recognized Education Board.
• Trade Certificate in Mechanic Diesel / Fitter/Mechanic Motor Vehicle trade from Government Recognized Institute.
• Minimum 02 years post qualification relevant work experience as Assistant Mechanic (Pump) or Assistant Mechanic (ICE).
• Knowledge of the operation and maintenance of centrifugal and reciprocating pumps/knowledge of the operation of ICE engines is essential.

Age Limitation for OIL Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of OIL Recruitment 2023, the minimum age limit is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 40 years.

Tenure for OIL Recruitment 2023:

As per the official notification of OIL Recruitment 2023, the appointment is made on a contract basis for an initial period of 06 months, which is extendable by another tenure of 06 months subject to departmental requirements. The maximum period of contractual engagement will be 01  year only.

Selection Procedure for OIL Recruitment 2023:

As per the official notification of OIL Recruitment 2023, the candidates will be selected on the basis of walk-in-practical/skill test cum personal assessments. Interested candidates should fill out the personal Bio- Data and bring it along with the following documents on the scheduled date. No TA/DA will be paid  for appearing in the walk-in-practical/skill test cum personal assessments.
