Haryana Anti Corruption Bureau arrests Income Tax Computer Operator in a Bribery Case

A team from the Haryana Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) detained computer operator Dinesh Kumar of Central Income Tax and Service Division Range-22 (City Area) GST Area in District Karnal after he took a bribe of Rs 15,000.

The government spokeswoman stated on Friday that the ACB team had received an allegation that computer operator Dinesh Kumar was demanding a bribe in exchange for stopping the suspension of the GST number.

Based on the information acquired, the ACB team devised a plan to arrest the culprit, who was captured red-handed on Thursday while accepting a bribe of Rs.15,000. The ACB team is investigating the case and gathering the required evidence.

A case has been filed against the accused at the ACB Karnal police station.
