Chartered Accountant Alert: Only 2 days left for CPE Hours Compliance
An important alert for the members who are non-compliant with CPE hours requirements for 2024 and are currently at Level I of the Consequential Provision contained in the CPE Statement, 2023.
Members who fail to complete their CPE requirement by the end of calendar year 2024, are currently at level -I (till 30th June 2025) of non-compliance and due to non-compliance now member need to make up the shortfall by completing twice of the shortfall in CPE hours latest by 30th June 2025, in addition to the regular CPE hours requirement for 2025.
Consequences of Failure
Failure to comply with CPE hours requirements for the year 2024 by 30th June 2025, will escalate your status to Level II and subsequent levels, as per the Consequential Provisions.
Kindly note that the self-declaration for claiming ULA for the year 2024 has now been disabled.
To ensure full compliance, members are required to undertake and declare ULA activity in the year 2025 only.
Names of members who do not comply by 30th June 2025 ((i.e. by completing twice the shortfall of Calander year 2024- for both Structured/ Unstructured Activities ) shall be classified under non-compliance status of Level-II from 1st July 2025, and this status will be reflected on the CPE Portal under the member’s login until full compliance is achieved by member.
