ICAI Announces Cancellation of COPs for 1,211 Chartered Accountants

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has cancelled the Certificate of Practice (COP) of 1211 Chartered Accountants (CAs) with effect from distinct dates.

These certificates have been cancelled because these CAs no longer have the desire to hold their Certificates of Practice (COP).

The aforementioned action has been taken by the institute in exercise of its powers granted under Clause (iii) of Regulation 10(1) of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988, through an Official Notification No. 3NCA(8)/2/2023-2024, dated March 21, 2024.

The following is the list of 20 chartered accountants who have voluntarily surrendered their Certificate of Practice (COP), along with effective dates:
