CSL Recruitment 2023: Cochin Shipyard Limites (CSL) is inviting candidates for the Executive posts of Manager, Deputy Manager, and Assistant Manager position at CSL AN Ship Repair Unit (CANSRU), Port Blair, Andaman and Nicobar Islands. As given in the official notification of CSL Recruitment 2023, there are 06 vacant seats available for the above posts. In accordance with the official notification of CSL Recruitment 2023, the selected applicant should have at least 07 to 09 years of working experience in the relevant field. According to the official notification of CSL Recruitment 2023, candidates will get a Pay Scale between Rs. 40000 to Rs. 180000.

As mentioned in the official notification of CSL Recruitment 2023, the maximum age for the position of Manager cannot be more than 40 years old, while the maximum age for the position of Deputy Manager cannot be more than 35 years old and the maximum age for the position of Assistant Manager cannot be more than 30 years old. As per the official notification of CSL Recruitment 2023, candidates for Manager and Deputy Manager positions will be chosen through an electronic media interview, while candidates for Assistant Manager positions will be chosen through an Objective type test, Descriptive type test, Group Discussion, and Personal Interview. As given in the official notification of CSL Recruitment 2023, a non-refundable application fee of Rs.1000 must be paid by the candidate using online payment options. Eligible candidates must apply online before the deadline. Experience for CSL Recruitment 2023:

In accordance with the official notification of CSL Recruitment 2023, the experience required for the above post is given below.

Manager (Mechanical)

  1. Candidate should have a minimum of 9 years post-qualification managerial experience in
    • Shipbuilding Company or
    • Ship repair or
    • Engineering company or
    • Offshore Fabrication and Other Marine Related Engineering companies or
    • Government / Semi-Government Companies / Establishments.
  2. Experience shall be in the areas of Planning/ Production/ Procurement / Fabrication/ Outfitting/ Repairs/ Quality Assurance/ Installation/ Project Management/ Commercial/ Marketing.
  3. In the case of candidates working in the regular cadre in PSUs/ Government / Autonomous bodies, one year of experience shall be in the immediate lower scale of pay or equivalent.

Desirable:
Experience working in an ERP/ SAP/computerized environment.

Deputy Manager (Naval Architecture)

  1. Candidate should have a minimum of 7 years post-qualification managerial experience in
    • Shipyard or
    • Offshore Fabrication /Other Marine Installations or
    • Classification Societies or
    •Marine related Engineering companies or
    •Government / Semi-Government Companies /Establishments.
  2. Experience shall be in the areas of Design/ Procurement/ Planning/ Production Engineering/ Fabrication / Outfitting/ Repairs/ Quality Assurance/ Installation/ Project Execution. Should possess adequate knowledge and exposure in Design/ Production/ Ship Hull Repair.
  3. In the case of candidates working in PSUs/ Government / Autonomous bodies in the regular cadre, one year of experience shall be in the immediate lower scale of pay or equivalent.

Desirable:
Experience working in an ERP/ SAP/ MS Project/ Primavera/ Auto CAD/ Ship Design Software.

Deputy Manager (Mechanical)

  1. Candidate should have a minimum of 7 years post-qualification managerial experience in
    • Shipbuilding or
    • Ship repair or
    • Engineering company or
    • Offshore Fabrication or
    • Marine related Engineering companies or
    • Government / Semi-Government Companies / Establishments.
  2.  Experience shall be in the areas of Planning/ Production/ Procurement / Fabrication/ Outfitting/ Repairs/ Quality Assurance/ Installation/ Project Management/ Commercial/ Marketing.
  3. In the case of candidates working in the regular cadre in PSUs / Government/ Autonomous bodies, the one-year experience shall be in the immediate lower scale of pay or equivalent.

Desirable:
Experience working in an ERP /SAP/ computerized environment.

Assistant Manager (Finance)

  1. Candidate should have a minimum of three years post-qualification managerial experience in the Finance Department of a
    • Public Sector Undertaking or
    • Engineering company or
    • Commercial organization or
    • Government / Semi-Government Company /Establishment.
  2. Experience shall be in the areas of financial policies, Financial Appraisal, Fund management, Budgeting and Accounting, Taxation, Audit, etc.

Desirable:
Experience of working in an ERP/ SAP/computerized environment.

Qualification for CSL Recruitment 2023:

Candidates applying for the CSL Recruitment 2023 must have the following qualification.

Manager (Mechanical)

Candidate should have a Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks from a recognized University.

Deputy Manager (Naval Architecture)

Candidate should have a Degree in Naval Architecture Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks from a recognized University

Deputy Manager (Mechanical)

Candidate should have a Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks from a recognized University.

Desirable:
Proficiency in Computer Applications like AutoCAD, SAP, MS Project, MS Office, etc.

Assistant Manager (Finance)

Candidate should have a Degree from a recognized University and pass in the final examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or Institute of Cost Accountants of India.

Pay Scale for CSL Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of CSL Recruitment 2023, candidates will get a Pay Scale between Rs.40000 to Rs.180000.
