CBIC Amends Customs Tariff Rates and Procedures under Customs Act, 1962 The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs has issued a notification on April 30, 2026, regarding the amendment of customs tariff rates and procedures under the Customs Act, 1962. The Central Board of Indirect Taxes & Customs (CBIC), using its powers under the Customs Act, 1962, has amended an earlier notification issued in 2001.

The government has made the following changes: In the said notification for Table 1, the following table will be replaced:
