CBIC launches GST Back Office Application for CBIC Officers In a crucial step toward CBIC's digital transformation, Sh. Sanjay Kumar Agarwal, Chairman of CBIC, launched the GSTN Back Office application for CBIC officers, which would increase scale, speed, and uniformity in indirect tax administration. To fulfill the future requirements of CBIC and to provide a consistent experience for taxpayers in tax administration, it was decided to migrate GST backend operations to GSTN BO, which is now utilized by all state GST administrations. Addressing the CGST officers, the Chairman of CBIC stated, "Let us move ahead with a shared vision of excellence in tax administration with the goal of One Nation! One Tax, One System!"
