CBIC Recruitment 2022: Check Posts, Eligibility Criteria and How to Apply

CBIC Recruitment 2022: Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) has sought Applications from Experienced Officers in reference to Appointments to the Posts of Senior Intelligence Officers (SIOs) and Intelligence Officers (IOs) toward the Formation of a Panel on a Loan Basis.

Objective: Preparation of a Panel comprising the Senior Intelligence Officers (SIOs) and Intelligence Officers (IOs) on the Loan Basis in the Office of the Directorate General of Goods and Services Tax (GST) Intelligence Sub-National Unit (North), Gurugram.

Among Central Government Officers meeting the Eligibility in reference to Senior Intelligence Officers and Intelligence Officers, those who are ‘Willing’ to submit individual Candidacy/ies for the said Posts vide the CBIC Recruitment 2022, may apply in the Specimen Application Proforma through Proper Channel before 23rd December 2022 (23.12.2022), the Last Date for receipt of the duly completed Applications in Sub-National Unit (North). Such Eligible Officers should apply duly fulfilling the Application-related Formalities, i.e., Dispatch of Duly completed Application with Cadre Controlling Authority issued CR Dossier (ACRs/APARs/Integrity Certificate/Vigilance Certificate), Cadre Clearance, No Objection Certificate (NOC) etc., altogether put in a Sealed Cover superscripted “Application For the Post Senior Intelligence Officer/Intelligence Officer.”

Selection Process: Selection on the Senior Information Officer/Information Officer Post(s) shall be conducted on Loan Basis among the Officers holding Similar Rank in the formation of Customs, Central Goods and Service Taxes and Directorate General/Directorates under the Central Board of Excise and Customs in the same Pay Grade. The Notified 02 Years Period may be extended in compliance with the existing Rules and Instructions.

The Eligible Officers appointed in the capacity of Senior Intelligence Officers (SIOs) and Intelligence Officers (IOs) on a Loan Basis will be included initially 02 Years in the Proposed Panel.
