Central Bank of India 2023: The Human Resources Development Department of Central Bank of India has released an official notification for the recruitment of Chief Managers, Senior Managers, Managers, and Assistant Managers in various grades and scales in Specialists Officers (IT) and Mainstream on a regular basis. The bank is seeking experienced professionals to fill these positions, and the recruitment process will be conducted online. Registration for the online examination will start on 28th February 2023 and the last date for registration is 15th March 2023. As per Central Bank of India Recruitment 2023 official Notification, the online examination is tentatively scheduled for March/April 2023, and the interview dates will also be in March/April 2023.
As per the eligibility criteria mentioned in the notification, the candidate must be an Indian citizen or fall under one of the categories mentioned in the notification. They must also possess a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field and have adequate knowledge of computer applications. The educational qualifications and experience required for each post are detailed in the annexures enclosed with the notification. As per Central Bank of India Recruitment 2023 official Notification, the candidates must possess relevant experience wherever applicable as per the post applied. The place of posting for all the positions is Mumbai, but the candidate may be posted or deputed to work with the team(s) within the bank or any subsidiary if deemed necessary.
As per Central Bank of India Recruitment 2023 official Notification, the total number of vacancies is 147, out of which 18 vacancies are reserved for SC category, 7 vacancies are reserved for ST category, 37 vacancies are reserved for OBC category, 12 vacancies are reserved for EWS category, and 73 vacancies are for the General category.
The vacancies are further divided into Technical and Functional roles across various scales. The number of vacancies in each scale and role is as follows:
Scale I – Technical Role: 12 vacancies
Scale II – Technical Role: 75 vacancies
Scale III – Functional Role: 6 vacancies
Scale III – Technical Role: 36 vacancies
Scale IV – Functional Role: 5 vacancies
Scale IV – Technical Role: 13 vacancies

As per Central Bank of India Recruitment 2023 official Notification, the selection procedure for this recruitment process will involve an online written test and/or coding test and/or personal interview, and/or any other mode that the bank may decide. Detailed information about the examination and selection process will be provided in an Information Hand-out, which will be available for download from the bank’s website along with the call letters.
The examination/selection process is tentatively proposed to be held in March/April 2023, and the candidates will have to appear for the examination at the allotted center at their own expense and risk. The bank will not be responsible for any injury or losses of any nature.
The exact date/center/venue of the examination/selection process will be communicated to the candidates through the call letters for the examination, and the bank reserves the right to cancel or make any change in the date of the test or vary the selection procedure if necessary.
Shortlisted candidates will be subsequently called for an interview, and the seniority in age will be the qualifying criteria in case of candidates who secure equal marks. It is important to note that merely satisfying the eligibility norms will not entitle a candidate to be called for an interview.
As per Central Bank of India Recruitment 2023 official Notification, there is no application fee for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/PWBD categories and women candidates. However, all other candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs. 1000/- along with GST at 18%.
To apply for the recruitment process, candidates must first visit the Bank’s website and click on the “CLICK HERE TO APPLY ONLINE” option to access the online application form. Once they have filled in their basic information, a provisional registration number and password will be generated and displayed on the screen. Candidates should note down this information and also receive an email and SMS with the same details. They can edit the particulars if needed by using the provisional registration number and password. As per Central Bank of India Recruitment 2023 official Notification, Candidates must upload their photograph and signature as per the given specifications. It is crucial for candidates to fill in the online application form carefully as no changes will be entertained once the application is submitted. Before submission, candidates must use the “SAVE AND NEXT” facility to verify the details in the online application form and modify them if required. Visually impaired candidates should also ensure that the details filled in are correct before submission, as no changes are possible after submission.
