Custom Department Sanctions Rs. 22.92 Crore Refund to Gandhar Oil Refinery

Gandhar Oil Refinery (India) Ltd has received approval from the Mumbai Customs Authority for a refund of Rs. 22.92 crore related to claims filed for the financial years 2018–19 and 2019–20. The company said the sanctioned refund will improve its working capital position and strengthen overall financial liquidity.

Custom Department Sanctions Rs. 22.92 Crore Refund to Gandhar Oil Refinery Gandhar Oil Refinery (India) Ltd has informed the BSE and NSE that it has received a favourable order from the Office of the Assistant Commissioner of Customs (Appeals), Mumbai Customs Zone–I, regarding its refund claims for the financial years 2018–19 and 2019–20. According to the company, the Customs authority, through an order dated April 30, 2026, and received on May 6, 2026, approved a total refund amount of Rs. 22.92 crore in relation to two refund applications filed by the company.

The authority found the claims admissible and sanctioned the refund in favour of the company. Gandhar Oil stated that the approved refund amount will directly improve its working capital position and support its financial liquidity. The disclosure was made under Regulation 30 of SEBI’s Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements and was officially signed and submitted to the stock exchanges by Binal Khosla, Compliance Officer and Company Secretary of the company.
