Department of Financial Services Appoints Part Time Member in PFRDA
The Department of Financial Service has passed a notification recently on July 23, 2025, under Section 4 of the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) Act, 2013.
PFRDA is a statutory body in India responsible for regulating, promoting, and ensuring the orderly growth of the National Pension System (NPS) and other pension schemes. The main objective of this is to promote old-age income security.
The Central Government appoints Shri Prashant Kumar Goyal, Join Secretary, Department of Financial Services, as Part-time Member, Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority with quick effect, for the duration of his tenure in his present appointment or until further orders, Whichever the first option comes.
