Posts and Vacancies in ESIC Recruitment 2023:

The ESIC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification has arisen with 27 Vacancies to be filled up by engaging the Medical Specialists as Senior Residents:

Brief Description: 03 (SR, FTCSS, FTCSS/PTCSS) Posts with 43 Vacancies

I) Senior Resident: 28 Vacancies (14 Specialty Departments)

II) Full-Time Contractual Specialists: 07 Vacancies (06 Specialty Departments)

III) Full-Time/Part-Time Contractual Specialists: 08 Vacancies (08 Specialty Departments)

Monthly Remuneration under ESIC Recruitment 2023:

Based on the ESIC Recruitment 2023 Official Vacancy Notice, the Monthly Salary for Senior Residents and Emoluments for Full-Time Contractual Specialists and Full-Time/Part-Time Contractual Specialists accruing to the Selected Candidates are as follows:

I) Senior Resident Post:

Monthly Salary: Rs. 67700 as per Pay Matrix Level 11 of the 7th Central Pay Commission.

II) Full-Time Contractual Specialist Post:

I) Junior Scale Specialist: Rs. 127141.00 (Consolidated) Per Month as per Pay Matrix Level 11 (For 03-Years Post-Post Graduate as per the RR)

II) Senior Scale Specialist: Rs. 147986.00 (Consolidated) Per Month as per Pay Matrix Level 12 (For 05-Years Post-Post Graduate as per the RR)

III) Full-Time/Part-Time Contractual Specialist Posts:

a) Super Specialist Post (Entry Level): Rs. 2.00 Lac Per Month

Option 01: Rs. 1.00 Lac Per Month Plus Emergency Visit Charge (Rs.20000) Plus Additional Revenue on Weekly Hour Basis.

Option 01: Rs. 1.00 Lac Per Month Plus Fixed CGHS Rates on Case-to-Case Basis.

Option 02: Rs. 1.50 Lac Per Month Plus Fixed CGHS Rates on Case-to-Case Basis.

Age Limits under ESIC Recruitment 2023:

According to the ESIC Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement, Post-specific varying Age Limits as on 09.08.2023 have been explained. The Varying Age Limits, in accordance with the ESIC Recruitment 2023 Official Vacancy Notice as on 09.08.2023 Applicable to the Un-Reserved Category Candidates are as follows:

Age Limits:

I) Senior Resident Post:

i) Not exceeding 45 Years for General Category Candidates.

ii) Relaxations in the Upper Age for Reserved Community Candidates.

Age Limits for Both Following:

II) Full-Time Contractual Specialist Post:

III) Full-Time/Part-Time Contractual Specialist Posts:

Not exceeding 69 Years for General Category Candidates.

Eligibility Criteria for ESIC Recruitment 2023:

According to the ESIC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Applicants should have gained the Eligibility comprising Educational Qualifications and Post-Professional Qualification Experience stipulated for the notified Posts and narrated hereunder:

01) Senior Resident Post:

Educational Qualifications:

01) MBBS with Post Graduate Degree/DNB/Diploma Or Equivalent/as per Residency Scheme in Concerned Specialty from any Duly Recognized University/Institution with 02-Years’ Experience post-MBBS in the Concerned Super-Specialty is likely to be considered for Selection.

In addition, if the Candidate having Post Graduate Degree/DNB/Diploma not available, those without PG Qualification but having 02 Years’ Experience in the Concerned Specialty may be considered.

Note: The Candidates having already served as Senior Residents for 03-Years after Post Graduation under the Central Residency Scheme (CRS) in any Government Organization are Ineligible for Senior Resident Posts under 03-Years’ Senior Residency Scheme.

02) Full-Time Contractual Super Specialist Post:

01) MBBS with Post Graduate Degree/DNB/Diploma Or Equivalent in Concerned Specialty from any Duly Recognized University/Institution with 03-Years’ Experience post-MBBS in the Concerned Super-Specialty is likely to be considered for Selection. Or  Post Graduate Diploma in Concerned Specialty from any Duly Recognized University/Institution with 05-Years’ Experience post-PG Diploma in the Concerned Super-Specialty is likely to be considered for Selection.

03) Full-Time/Part-Time Contractual Super Specialist Post:

01) MBBS, MD/MS/DNB with DM/DNB in Concerned Specialty from any University/Institution Duly Recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI); And

02) Registered with the Delhi Medical Council (DMC) or Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council (SMC); With  05-Years’ Experience post-PG Diploma in the Concerned Super-Specialty is likely to be considered for Selection.

Note: In the case of Doctorate of Medicine (DM) Holders, 05-Years Duration Educational Qualification, the Period of Senior Post Graduate Residency rendered in the Last Part of the Said Doctorate of Medicine (MD) shall be counted towards Experience Requirement. 

Selection Criteria under ESIC Recruitment 2023:

The Selection Criteria for Selection on various Posts; viz., Senior Residents, Full-Time Contractual Super Specialists and Full-Time/Part-Time Contractual Super Specialists shall be carried through by Walk-in-Interviews and Pre-Interview Verification of the Testimonials/ Documents.  The Contractual Engagement Duration of Senior Residents shall remain 03 Years for Senior Residents.

Engagement Duration for Full-Time Contractual Super Specialist shall remain 03 Year, subject to Annual Renewal based on the Incumbent’s Performance or till a Regular Incumbent joins.

Engagement Duration for Part-Time Contractual Super Specialist shall remain 01 Year or till a Regular Incumbent joins.

Interview Details:

The Intending Eligible Applicants may complete the Applications and reach the Office of the Medical Superintendent, ESIC Hospital, Delhi on the Date of Walk-in-Interview; i.e., on 09.08.2023 (Latest by 09:00 A.M.)  But Not Later than 11:00 AM along with Original Documents and one set of photocopies (Self-Attested) as listed on the Application Form.

Application Fee for ESIC Recruitment 2023:

The Application Fee, in accordance with the ESIC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Application Fee prescribed Category-wise to be paid in the shape of a Demand Draft is as follows:

I) Un-Reserved Category Candidates: Rs. 300.00

II) OBC Candidates: Rs. 300.00

III) Reserved Community Candidates: Rs. 75.00
