ESIC Recruitment 2023: ESIC (Employees’ State Insurance Corporation) Hospital, Pune has invited Suitable Doctors for Contractual Recruitment as Full-Time Specialists and Part-Time Specialist (FTS/PTS) Senior Residents against General Duty Medical Officer (GDMO) Posts to be filled for 03-Years and 01 Year’s Contract Duration vide the ESIC Recruitment 2023 Notification Dated 30.06.2023. The ESIC Recruitment 2023 Official Vacancy Notice issued for the purpose has 05 Vacancies to be filled up against Contractual Full-Time Specialist/Part Time Specialist and Senior Resident (SR) against GDMO Posts in various Specialty Departments notified thereby.
Based on the ESIC Recruitment 2023 Official Vacancy Notification, among the Eligible Medical Specialists, those Willing for Senior Scale/Junior Scale Full-Time Specialist And Senior Resident (against GDMO) Post may complete the Application Process.
Note:
i) Doctors with requisite Educational Qualifications and Experience may appear on the Appointed Date for Walk-in-Interviews (14.07.2023) at ESIC Hospital, Bibvewadi Pune, Survey No. 690, Bibvewadi, Pune.
ii) The Candidates, who have already worked as Senior Residents in any Government Organization for 03 Years after Post Graduation under the Central Residency Scheme (CRS) are not eligible to apply for the Post of Senior Residents on a Contractual Basis under 03 Years’ Senior Residency Scheme.
As may be referred to the ESIC Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement, Walk-in-Interviews for Selection on FTS/PTS and Senior Resident (GDMO) Posts shall be held on 14.07.2023. As per ESIC Recruitment 2023 Official Vacancy Notice, the Interested Medical Specialists may carry all the duly completed Applications and Required Documents.
Note: The Walk-in Interviews for Appointment of (Senior Scale/Junior Scale) Full-Time Specialist shall remain 01 Year on Contractual Basis, Further Extendable up to 03 Years, subject to the Incumbent’s Satisfactory Performance. The Contractual Duration for Senior Residents (against the GDMO Post) shall remain 01 Year.
The ESIC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification has arisen with 05 Vacancies to be filled up as mentioned hereunder:
Designated Post:
I) Senior Scale Full-Time Specialist (SSFTS)
II) Junior Scale Full-Time Specialist (JSFTS)
III) Senior Resident (SR) against General Duty Medical Officer (GDMPO)
Contractual Terms:
01) Senior Scale Full-Time Specialist: 03 Years’ Period with Annual Evaluation and Term renewed every year based on Satisfactory Performance.
02) Junior Scale Full-Time Specialist: 03 Years’ Period with Annual Evaluation and Term renewed every year based on Satisfactory Performance.
03) Senior Resident: 01 Year’s Period or till Regular Incumbent joins, Whichever is earlier.
According to the ESIC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Monthly Remuneration Admissible for Senior Residents remains as follows:

I) Junior Scale Full-Time Specialist Post:
Monthly Remuneration: Rs. 155551 (Consolidated) Per month
II) Junior Scale Full-Time Specialist Post:
Monthly Remuneration: Rs. 133640 (Consolidated) Per month
III) Senior Resident Post:
Monthly Remuneration: Rs. 133640 (Consolidated ) Per month
According to the ESIC Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement, Post-specific varying Age Limits as on 14.07.2023, are as follows:
Age Limit:
I) Sr Scale/Junior Scale FTS/PTS Post: Not exceeding 67 Years.
II) Senior Resident (GDMO): Not to exceed 45 Years
Age Relaxations for Reserved Community Candidates as per Government Rules.
According to the ESIC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Applicants should have gained the Eligibility comprising Educational Qualifications and Post-Professional Qualification Experience stipulated for the notified Posts and narrated hereunder:
Essential Qualifications:
01) Senior Scale/Junior Scale Full-Time Specialist Posts:
Educational: Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in the Concerned Specialty from any Duly Recognized University only and Registered with the State Medical Council.
Experience: Full-Time Specialist/Part-Time Specialist: Minimum 03 Years’ Experience post-obtained PG Degree OR minimum 05 Years’ Experience in the Concerned Specialty post-obtained Diploma.
Senior Resident Post:
Educational: Post Graduate Degree/Post Graduate Diploma holders in the Concerned Specialty and Registered with the Medical Council. The MBBS Graduates with Minimum 02 Years’ Working Experience in the Concerned Specialty, in the absence of Post Graduate Qualified Doctors will be considered for Selection. However, Preference will be given to PG Qualified Candidate/s.
The Selection Criteria for Selection on Appointment as Senior Residents shall be conducted through Walk-in-Interviews involving Performance therein and Pre-Interview Verification of the Testimonials/Documents. Post-Selection Full-Time Specialists shall be engaged for 03 Years. Part-Time Specialist will be engaged for 01 Year’s Contractual Duration. The Senior Residents will be engaged for 01 Year Period or until a Regular Medical Specialist joins.
According to the ESIC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, Eligible Candidates with Willingness should fill in the Prescribed Application Proforma, have Self-attested Copies with Originals, and report at the Interview Venue.
Note: The Intending Eligible Applicants may complete the Applications with Original Documents and One Set of Photocopies (Self-Attested) as listed in the Appended ESIC Recruitment 2023 Vacancy Notice.
Such Candidates must reach the Office of the Medical Superintendent, ESIC Hospital on the Date of Walk-in-Interview Date 14.07.2023, and the Time intimated/advised.
