HAL Recruitment 2023:Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) has announced recruitment 2023 cycle for the posts of Security Officer, Fire Officer, and Officer (Official Language)/Assistant Officer (Official Language). HAL is a Navratna Central Public Sector Undertaking, known as a premier aeronautical industry of Southeast Asia. The company is involved in various hi-tech programs that require state-of-the-art technology, design development, manufacture, repair, overhaul, and upgrade of aircraft, helicopters, aero-engines, and other related systems. The job vacancies are spread across various Production, Service Divisions/Offices of the company.
The HAL is looking for result-oriented and energetic professionals to fill these vacancies. The recruitment process will be based on a written test, interview, and medical examination. As per HAL Recruitment 2023 official notification, the pay scale for the mentioned posts ranges from Rs. 30,000/- to Rs. 40,000/-, with various perquisites and allowances as per the company’s prevailing rules. The company has also provided age limits and relaxation criteria for the candidates based on their category. Interested and eligible candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria mentioned in the advertisement may apply online through the HAL recruitment portal. The HAL has provided detailed instructions for filling up the application form, and the last date for submitting the application is 15th March 2023.
Post Name and Number of Vacancy for HAL Recruitment 2023:
As per HAL Recruitment 2023 official notification, the three posts are Security Officer, Fire Officer, and Officer (Official Language) / Assistant Officer (Official Language).
For the post of Security Officer, there are 3 vacancies available, one each for UR, SC, and OBC (NCL) categories, and the selected candidates will be posted in Korwa, Kanpur, and Bangalore locations.
For the post of Fire Officer, there is only one vacancy available for SC category candidates, and they will be posted in Korwa.
For the post of Officer (Official Language) / Assistant Officer (Official Language), there are 2 vacancies available, one for UR and one for OBC(NCL) category candidates.
Age Limit for HAL Recruitment 2023:
As per HAL Recruitment 2023 official notification, the age limit and relaxation for the various posts advertised are as follows:
Security Officer: The age limit for UR candidates is 35 years, while it is 38 years for OBC(NCL) candidates and 40 years for SC candidates. The upper age limit is relaxable by 10 years for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBDs), over and above the relaxation admissible for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC(NCL).
Fire Officer: There is no vacancy for UR and OBC, while the age limit for SC Candidates is 40 years.
Officer (Official Language)/Assistant Officer (Official Language): The age limit for UR candidates is 35 years, while it is 38 years for OBC(NCL) candidates. SC candidates can also apply for this post, but the upper age limit is not specified. The upper age limit is relaxable by 10 years for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBDs) over and above the relaxation admissible for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC(NCL).
Additionally, the upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years in respect of candidates who had ordinarily been domiciled in the state of Jammu & Kashmir during the period of 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989. The relaxation in the age limit for Ex-Servicemen & Serving Officers will be extended as per rules. The upper age limit with all relaxations shall not exceed 55 years (56 years in case of PwBD candidates).
As per HAL Recruitment 2023 official notification, the qualifications required for each post is given below:
Security Officer (Grade II): The candidate must have completed one of the following courses in the last 5 years and should indicate it in the application form:
10-month pre-Commission Training Course from the Officers’ Training School, Chennai or from any other equivalent Institution under the Defence Forces;
1 to 1.5 years Course conducted by the Central/State Governments qualifying for appointment as Deputy Superintendent of Police/Sub-Inspectors in State Police, Railway Protection Force, Central Reserve Police, Border Security Force;
1-year Training Course conducted by the Central Government for those selected for the posts of Intelligence Officers in the Central Intelligence Bureau and Research and Analysis Wing;
Training conducted by the Central Government for candidates selected for the post of Sub Inspectors in the CISF or 1-year training conducted by Home Ministry, Government of India, for SI in CBI.
Fire Officer (Grade II): The candidate must possess one of the following qualifications and a valid Heavy Transport Vehicle (HTV) Licence:
Bachelor’s Degree of Fire Engineering from the National Fire Service College (NFSC), Nagpur awarded by the Nagpur University;
Bachelor’s Degree of Fire Engg. from Institutes/Universities recognized by appropriate Statutory Authorities;
Pass in Associate Membership/Membership Examination of Institute of Fire Engineering, UK;
Degree from a recognized University with a pass in GIFE-India/UK. OR Graduates in Science (B.Sc) (with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths) possessing a minimum of 60% marks in the aggregate of all the Semesters/Years or corresponding CGPA ratings/gradations and Divisional Officers Course of minimum 22 weeks duration conducted by National Fire Service College, Nagpur/CISF Fire Service Training Institute – National Industrial Security Academy (NISA), Hyderabad.
Officer (Official Language) (Grade II) / Assistant Officer (Official Language) (Grade I): The candidate must possess a Full Time Bachelor’s Degree (3 years after 10+2) from Institutes/Universities recognized by appropriate statutory authorities in the Country and one of the following:
Full Time Master’s Degree in Hindi with English as a Compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level from Institutes/Universities recognized by appropriate statutory authorities in the Country;
Full Time Master’s Degree in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level from Institutes/Universities recognized by appropriate statutory authorities in the Country;
Full-Time Master’s Degree in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject or as a medium of examination at the degree level from Institutes/Universities recognized by appropriate statutory authorities in the Country;
Full-Time Master’s Degree in any subject other than Hindi or English, with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as a medium of examination at the degree level from Institutes/Universities recognized by appropriate statutory authorities in the Country.
Salary for HAL Recruitment 2023:
As per HAL Recruitment 2023 official notification the pay scales for Grade II and Grade I are as follows:
Annual increments are presently 3% of the running basic pay. In addition to basic pay, candidates will also be eligible for variable dearness allowance, perquisites and allowances, company accommodation or house rent allowance, performance-related pay (PRP), membership of provident fund, gratuity, and other benefits as per the prevailing company rules.
Perquisites and allowances are currently paid at 35% of the running basic pay under the cafeteria system.
As per HAL Recruitment 2023 official notification, pay an Application Fee of Rs. 500/- (inclusive of GST of 18%) for applying to the Hindustan Aeronautics Limited recruitment. However, candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwBD categories are exempted from paying the Application Fee. The Application Fee is to be deposited in the “Hindustan Aeronautics Limited – Recruitment Account” in State Bank of India bearing Account Number 41496209808 (IFSC Code SBIN0009077) at any of the Core Banking Branches of State Bank of India using the prescribed Challan. A Journal Number is to be obtained after depositing the fee, and candidates are required to provide the requisite details of the Application Fee paid in the Application Form. The original Counterfoil of the Challan (HAL copy) needs to be forwarded along with the Application Form, and a photocopy of the Challan will not be accepted.
he Application Fee can be deposited until the last date for receipt of the Application. The Application Fee once deposited into the Company’s Account will not be refunded under any circumstance, even if the candidate is unable to forward the Application or is ineligible at the time of applying or rejection of the Application or due to postal delay/loss. Therefore, candidates must ensure that they meet all the eligibility criteria before depositing the Application Fee, and they should retain the original Counterfoil of the Challan (Candidate’s copy) for future reference.
Print the Application Form and the Challan Format attached with the advertisement.
Fill the Application Form in A4 size paper strictly in the prescribed format.
Affix a self-attested recent passport size photograph on the application form.
Deposit the Application Fee of Rs.500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) inclusive of GST of 18% in the “Hindustan Aeronautics Limited – Recruitment Account” in State Bank of India bearing Account Number 41496209808 (IFSC Code SBIN0009077) at any of the Core Banking Branches of State Bank of India in the prescribed Challan and obtain a Journal Number.
Enclose the original Counterfoil of Challan (HAL Copy) for having paid the Application Fee (wherever applicable) along with the Application Form.
Send the duly filled Application Form along with the original Challan (HAL copy) only through Ordinary Post/Speed Post/Registered Post/Courier to the following address:
Superscribe the Envelope with the name of the post being applied for.
Ensure to possess a valid Mobile number and Email Id, which is to be entered in the application form so that intimation regarding further stages of selection like Selection Interview, etc. will be sent on the same Email Id.
Remember that no documents / Certificates/ testimonials are required to be attached along with Application Form. However, all the candidates who are called for Interview at a later stage will have to mandatorily produce Certificates in original in respect of all the particulars submitted in the Application Form for Document Verification.
Apply only once for the selected post as the application once submitted cannot be altered under any circumstances.
Do not request for change in Date of Birth, Mailing Address, Category, etc. once declared in the application form as it will not be entertained.
