ICMR Recruitment 2023: Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) is looking for eligible candidates for the posts of Junior Medical Officer, Health Assistant, Technician/Field Assistant, Lab Technician and X-ray Technician. There are 07 vacancies for the above-mentioned posts. As per the official notification of ICMR recruitment 2023, this is a contractual engagement and the time period of engagement is initially 01 year and may be extended as per requirement. Selected candidates will get a monthly salary of up to Rs.60000 per month.
The place of posting will be Puducherry. In accordance with ICMR recruitment 2023, candidates will be selected on the basis of written tests and interviews. Candidates can download the application form through the website of ICMR -Vector Control Research Centre and send the duly filled same application form to The Director, ICMR-VECTOR CONTROL RESEARCH CENTRE, Medical Complex, Indira Nagar, Puducherry – 605006 before the closing date and time. The application process has already started on 17.02.2023.

The upper age limit for the post of Junior Medical Officer is 35 years (age relaxation of 03 years for OBC candidates and 05 years for SC/ST candidates).
The upper age limit for the post of Health Assistant and Technician/Field Assistant is 28 years (age relaxation of 03 years for OBC candidates and 05 years for SC/ST candidates).
The upper age limit for the post of Lab Technician and X-ray Technician is 30 years (age relaxation of 03 years for OBC candidates and 05 years for SC/ST candidates).

Selected candidates will get a monthly salary as given below:
For Junior Medical Officer- Selected candidates will get a salary of Rs.60000.
For Health Assistant and Technician/Field Assistant- Selected candidates will get a monthly salary of Rs.17000.
For Lab Technician and X-ray Technician- Selected candidates will get a monthly salary of Rs.18000.
In accordance with the official notification of ICMR recruitment 2023, candidates will be selected on the basis of written tests and interviews. Candidates will be selected for the post of Junior Medical Officer on the basis of only interviews and for other posts candidates will be selected on the basis of written tests and interviews. Candidates will be intimated later through email.
