ONGC Recruitment 2023: Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) is a leading public sector undertaking in India, engaged in the exploration, production, and refining of crude oil and natural gas. ONGC Ahmedabad Asset has recently released an advertisement inviting applications from retired ONGC executives from the Production/Drilling disciplines for the posts of Junior Consultants and Associate Consultants on a contractual basis. As per ONGC Recruitment 2023 official notification, the contract period is for two years, and the selected candidates will be posted as competent persons in shift/general shift on charter hired and O&M operated Work-over Rigs of Ahmedabad Asset for supervision of Work-over Operations.
As per ONGC Recruitment 2023 official notification, the recruitment is for a total of 56 vacancies, out of which 18 vacancies are for Junior Consultant posts (E1 to E3 level) and 38 vacancies are for Associate Consultant posts (E4 to E5 level) in the Production discipline. The required experience for Junior Consultant posts is at least 5 years of experience in Work-Over/Drilling field operations, and for Associate Consultant posts, the experience requirement is at least 5 years of experience in Work-Over/Drilling field operations at E4 to E5 level. In case of non-availability of E4 to E5 level candidates in required numbers, E6 level candidates will also be considered for engagement with a capping of remuneration to E5 level based on their consent. As per ONGC Recruitment 2023 official notification, the compensation package includes a monthly honorarium, conveyance reimbursement, reimbursement for office at residence, monthly charges on communication facilities, and GST, which will be borne by the consultants.

Written Test – 80 marks
Interaction/interview – 20 marks
Total Marks – 100 marks
Qualifying marks in the written test will be 28 (out of total marks 80), i.e., 35% of total marks. Candidates qualifying the written test will be shortlisted and called for Interaction/Interview. Qualifying marks for Interaction/Interview will be 12 (out of total marks 20), i.e., 60% of the total marks. Offer of engagement will be issued to the selected candidates as per overall merit.
As per ONGC Recruitment 2023 official notification, the engagement shall be purely on a contract basis for a period of 2 (two) years from the date of joining. Engagement on a contract basis will be subject to medical fitness by ONGC Medical Authority as per mines rules 1955. No TA/DA/Accommodation shall be paid for the written test/interview.
