Institute of Company Secretaries of India inks MOU with K. R. Mangalam University

ICSI inks MOU with K. R. Mangalam University

Under the ICSI Academic Collaboration Initiative, the Institute of Company Secretaries of India signed a Memorandum of Understanding with K. R. Mangalam University in Gurugram.

The MOU‘s goal is to facilitate a comprehensive relationship for imparting information and skills to students and academicians from both institutes in the fields of joint academic research, joint workshops, and professional development programmes.

On behalf of the Institute and the University, CS Devendra V. Deshpande, President, The ICSI, and Gp Captain Praveen Mahajan, Registrar, KR Mangalam University signed the MoU. CS Prof. Pushplata Tripathi, KRMU’s Officiating Vice Chancellor; and Prof. Rajat Gera, Dean, School of Management & Commerce, KRMU were also present.

“Developing adequately qualified professionals is the responsibility of both academia and industry,” stated CS Devendra V Deshpande, President ICSI, emphasising the need of such collaborations. The partnership will aid in training young professionals with the essential skill set and competency to analyse and match emerging technologies that may have an impact on enterprises.”

Prof. Pushplata Tripathi, KRMU’s Officiating Vice Chancellor, expressed her satisfaction in being a part of this endeavour and discussed how the two institutes’ collaboration will help them capitalise on opportunities coming from cross-institutional relevance.
