List of Documents & Information required for GST Registration of Proprietor

  • PAN of the Individual
  • Trade name of Business if it is different from Legal Name
  • Aadhar of the Individual
  • Residential Address Proof. [Aadhaar would sufficient if same can be used as address proof]
  • Address Proof for Place of Business*
  • Mobile Number & Email ID for Sending OTP.
  • Please provide us with the date of commencement of business and reason for obtaining GST Registration
  • Please make sure that his Mobile is linked with Aadhar for Aadhar Authentication
  • Indicate Existing Registrations: VAT/Service Tax / Excise/ IEC/ Shop Registration Etc.
  • Kindly provide us with the type of Good/Service traded
  • Copy of Cancelled check or First page of Bank Statement indicating Account number, IFSC Code. [However, bank deals can be provided within 45 Days of Grant of Registration]
  • Professional Tax Registration Certificate if applicable

*Following can be used as Address proof for Place of Business

  • For Own premises – Any document in support of the ownership of the premises like Latest Property Tax Receipt or Municipal Khata copy or copy of Electricity Bill.
  • For Rented or Leased premises – A copy of the valid Rent / Lease Agreement with any document in support of the ownership of the premises of the Lessor like Latest Property Tax Receipt or Municipal Khata copy or copy of Electricity Bill.
  • For premises not covered above – A copy of the Consent Letter with any document in support of the ownership of the premises of the Consenter like Municipal Khata copy or Electricity Bill copy. For shared properties also, the same documents may be uploaded.
