The case dates back to December 30, 2025, when the company had already informed the exchanges that they had received an order from the GST department. An allegation was made in this order that the company has claimed excess Input Tax Credit (ITC). Due to this, the GST authority had raised a demand of approximately Rs 55.20 crore against the company. The company did not agree to this and decided to give clarification from its side.
