Ministry of Commerce and Industry Recruitment 2023: The Ministry of Commerce & Industry has called in Applications from the Central Government Officers Candidates meeting the Eligibility for Deputy Development Commissioner (DDC) Post on Deputation Basis in Falta Special Economic Zone (SEZ), Kolkata under the Department of Commerce, Government of India. There is 01 Vacancy to be filled up with Appointment of the Eligible Officer as Dy. Development Commissioner notified by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry vide this Ministry of Commerce and Industry Recruitment 2023 Office Memorandum.
The Ministry of Commerce & Industry notified Dy. Development Commissioner Post shall be filled under the Pay Scale Level 11 Pay Band-3 (Rs.15600 to 39100) Plus Grade Pay Rs 6600 or as per the 7th CPC Matrix. The Last Date for the Employer/Cadre Controlling Authority to complete the Applications in respect of the Willing Eligible Candidates shall cease on the 45th Day of this Ministry of Commerce and Industry Recruitment 2023 Advertisement issued in the Employment News.
Note: The Cadre Controlling Authority Concerned should forward Duly Completed Applications (in respect of the Eligible and Willing Officers, who could be relieved in the event of Selection) only in the prescribed Specimen Application Format (Annexure-II) accompanying the Documents mentioned.

Pay Scale Level 11 Pay Band-3 (Rs.15600 to Rs.39100) Plus Grade Pay Rs 6600 or as per the 7th CPC Matrix.
The Officer issued appointment on the Deputy Development Officer Post shall be entitled to the Pay Scale Level mentioned hereinabove vide the Ministry of Commerce & Industry Recruitment 2023.
The Maximum Age Limit should not exceed 56 Years for Appointment by Transfer on Deputation as on the Closing Date (45th Date) Post-issued Ministry of Commerce and Industry Recruitment 2023 Notification.
A. Essential Conditions: Officers from Central Government’s Services including the All India Services (AIS) Organized Group ‘A’ Services, State Government Officers/Officers of the Union Territories/Public Sector Undertakings/Autonomous Bodies/Statutory Bodies
1) holding Analogous Post on Regular Basis; or
2) with 05-Years of Service in the Post drawing Salary under Pay Band-3 and Grade Pay Rs.5400 (Pre-revised)/in the corresponding Level-10 of Pay in the 7th Central Pay Commission Pay Matrix.
B. Desirable Condition: Gained Experience in Industrial Development, Foreign Trade, Estate Development and Administration.
Selection Process for Ministry of Commerce and Industry Recruitment 2023:
The Appointment on Deputy Development Commissioner would be carried through on Transfer on Deputation Basis.
The Deputation Tenure shall ordinarily not exceed 03 Years in case of DDC. The terms and conditions of the the Deputy Development Commissioner On Deputation shall be governed as per the Instructions issued by Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) vide Office Memorandum No. 6/8/2009-Establishment (Pay-II) dated 17th June 2010 (17.06.2010), as amended from time to time in view of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry Recruitment Board 2023 Notification.
Important Note: The Tenure of Deputation for Deputy Development Commissioner Posts including the Deputation Period in another Ex-Cadre Post held immediately preceding the Appointment in the Deputy Development Commissioner Post in the same or Some other Organization of the Central Government shall not exceed (03) Three Years.
