Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2023: The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), Government of India, New Delhi has called in Applications from the Officers Eligible for Appointment on Research Officer (Communal Harmony Cell) on “Deputation/ Absorption” through “Proper Channel” in the Ministry Head Quarters.
As has been notified vide the Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2023 Notification issued, there is 01 Vacancy to be filled up with Appointment of the Eligible Officer into Research Officer (Communal Harmony Cell) by Deputation/Absorption Basis under Pay Scale Level 07.
Based on the Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2023 Notification issued, the Officers with the Desirable Eligibility comprising the Eligibility Criteria, Educational Qualification and Experience are Eligible to be considered for Selection on the Research Officer (Communal Harmony Cell) Post on Deputation/Absorption notified therein.
Based on the Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2023 Notification, the Last Date for the Cadre Controlling Authority/Employer Concerned under the Ministries Concerned/Government Departments/State Governments/UT Governments/PSUs/Autonomous and Statutory Bodies for forwarding the Names with Applications in respect of the Officers who might be spared immediately upon Selection is 60 Days post released Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2023 Notification in the Employment News.

Based on the Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2023 Notification the Pay Scale Matrix prescribed for the Post enumerated is as hereunder:
Pay Scale: Level 07 in the Pay Matrix
As per the Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2023 Notification issued, the Maximum Age Limit prescribed for the Officer Applicant is as follows:
Age Limit: Not to exceed 56 Years
The Eligibility including Essential Educational Qualification, Desirable Experience, and Skills, etc., are as follows:
Eligibility Criteria: Post-specific Eligibility Essential for Deputation (Including Short-Term Contractual) Basis are as follows:
Eligibility: Any Officer of Central Government/State Government/Union Territories
i) holding Analogous Post on a Regular Basis in the Parent Cadre/Department; Or
ii) with Minimum 05-Years’ Regular Service in the Grade rendered after Appointment thereto on a Regular Basis in Pay Level 06 in the Pay Matrix or Equivalent. And
Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree in Sociology/Social Work/Anthropology/Economics with Statistics from any Accredited University/Equivalent.
Experience: 02-Years’ Experience in Collection/Compilation and Analysis of Data relating to Socio-Economic Surveys/Studies having bearing on the National Integration and Drafting of Reports therewith.
Note: In case of the Officers already on Deputation, the Applications of such officers should be forwarded by the Parent Cadre/Department annexed with Cadre Clearance, Clearance and Integrity Certificate.
Selection on Research Officer Post shall be carried through by Deputation/Absorption.
Deputation Tenure: The Deputation Tenure (Including Short-Term Contractual) including the Deputation (ISTC) Period in another Ex-Cadre Post held immediately preceding this Appointment in Similar or some other Organization or Department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed 03 (Three) Years.
As per the Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2023 Notification, Duly completed Application coupled with the Mandatory Documents should be forwarded within 60 Days with an Advance Copy annexed with Stipulated Documents.
Eligible Officer’s Applications, in Duplicate, in the Enclosed Proforma (Annexure-II) coupled with the following
i) Vigilance and Cadre Clearance and
ii) Attested Copies of duly completed and Up-to-date Annual Confidential Reports (ACRs) of Last 05-Years (with Rubber Stamp on each Page) of the Officers, who might be spared in the event of their Selection may be sent/forwarded to “The Under-Secretary (Ad-V), Ministry of Home Affairs, Room No. 81-D, North Block, New Delhi-110 001”
