According to the Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Remuneration Payable to the Consultants: (Refer to Letter No.3-25/2020-EIIIA of MoF (DoE) Dated 09/12/2020)
A Fixed Monthly Amount/Sum shall be admissible, arrived at by deducting the Basic Pension from the Pay drawn at the time of Retirement. The Remuneration Sum, so fixed shall remain unchanged for the Contractual Term. There shall be No Annual Increment/Percentage Increment during the Contractual Period.

Age Span: Born on or after 01.01.1960
General Requirements For Consultants: The Ex-Officials having retired from Central Government Ministries/Departments having experience of functioning in Government Bodies preferably in the concerned fields for the Role of Consultant. The Official Personnel having retired by 30.04.2023 on attaining the age of Superannuation were also Eligible.
Essential Qualification: Retired at the level of Assistant Section Officer or Equivalent in Pay Level-7 of Pay Matrix as per 7th Central Pay Commission.
Work Experience/Job Profile:
According to the Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Candidates meeting the Conditions in Para-1 of the above shall be shortlisted based upon Criteria formulated by the Office of Directorate General Fire Services, Civil Defence & Home Guards (DG FS CD & HG) The Initial Engagement as Consultant would be for 01-Year’s Period, which may be extended beyond 01 (One) Year depending upon the requirement of the Office of the Directorate General Fire Services, Civil Defence & Home Guards and Performance Review of the Consultants or but shall not be extended beyond 05 Years after Superannuation.
Engagement of Consultants would be on a Full-Time Basis. Engagement of Consultants would be of a Temporary nature against the Tasks assigned. However, Engagement may be nullified at any time by the Office of the Directorate General Fire Services, Civil Defence & Home Guards without assigning any reason.
