NEET UG 2023: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the NEET UG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Undergraduates) 2023 tomorrow, 7th May 2023. More than 20 lakh students have applied for the NEET UG 2023 out of which more than 11 lakh students are girls and around 9 lakh students are boys. The examination will be conducted from 2 pm to 5:20 pm in a single shift across the country.
NEET is the only Medical Entrance Exam in India that offers admission to various undergraduate courses like MBBS, BDS, BUMS, BAMS, and others. It is a national-level exam conducted once every year by the NTA. The NEET UG 2023 exam will be conducted in 543 Indian cities and 14 cities outside India. Being a national-level exam, it will be conducted in 13 different languages, that include English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
The NTA has released the updated rules and regulations for the NEET UG 2023 exam day. Along with rules and regulations, the NTA has also released the NTA NEET COVID Advisory 2023. Candidates should strictly follow the rules and regulations otherwise the candidature of the candidate will be canceled. Some of the rules and regulations to be followed on the examination day are mentioned below:
Candidates should strictly adhere to the Dress Code mentioned below on the exam day, otherwise, the students will not be allowed to enter the examination hall.
Candidates must carry the following mentioned documents on the exam day. Without the possession of the mentioned documents, candidates will not be permitted to take the test.

Passport size photograph
Postcard size photograph
Valid ID proof – PAN card, Aadhaar card, Voter ID, Driving License, Passport, Ration card
The NEET UG 2023 examination will last 200 minutes (03 hours 20 minutes). The examination will be held in a single shift for all applicants from 02:00 PM to 05:20 PM (Indian Standard Time). The NEET UG 2023 exam’s question papers will have only objective-type questions (MCQs). The exam will be held in offline mode i.e., a pen and paper-based exam. The test will consist of 200 questions from the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany and Zoology). Candidates will have to attempt only 180 questions out of 200.
There will be 50 questions in each subject, separated into two sections (A and B). Section A will consist of 35 questions while Section B will consist of 15 questions. Candidates will have to attempt 10 questions from section B. Each question will be of four marks and for every incorrect answer one mark will be deducted and 0 marks will be awarded for unanswered questions. The maximum mark for NEET UG 2023 is 720.
