NTPC Recruitment 2023: NTPC is currently seeking experienced professionals for the position of Assistant Manager at the E3 level in the areas of Project Construction/Erection. The position requires a BE/B. Tech degree in Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics or Mechanical/ Production or Civil/ Construction with at least 60% marks from a recognized university/ institution. There are a total of 66 Vacancies available in this recruitment drive. The minimum experience required for the position is seven years of post-qualification executive experience in the relevant area in a Govt./Public Sector Undertaking or Private company of repute, out of which a minimum of three years should be in the post and scale of ` 50000 – 160000 or above (IDA pay scale of E2 grade or above of NTPC effective from 01.01.2017) or equivalent level/post profile.
As per NTPC Recruitment 2023 official notification, the Assistant Manager (Electrical Erection) position requires experience in electrical equipment erection/commissioning, with preference given to candidates with experience in the area of 132 kV & above switchyards/substation works, LT/MV/HT Switchgears, and Power transformers. The Assistant Manager (Mechanical Erection) position requires experience in equipment erection/mechanical erection/structural steel erection work in thermal power projects, with preference given to candidates with experience in the area of Pressure parts erection, Heavy equipment installations, material handling systems, Steam Turbine & Generator erection. The Assistant Manager (Civil Construction) position requires experience in civil construction in thermal/hydropower projects, with preference given to candidates with experience in the area of General Civil works of the power plant, Tall Structure (chimney/natural draft cooling towers), Deep Excavation works: Wagon tippler/track hopper/Cooling Water Pump House. The upper age limit for all positions is 35 years, and the Level/Pay Scale of Recruitment is E3 Grade/IDA (` 60000 -180000).
