SEBI Provides A Facility For PACL Investors To Change/Update Their Mobile Number

A high-powered Sebi committee gave PACL investors the ability to amend their mobile number information and check to see if they have received SMSs asking them to produce original certificates on Friday.

As per SEBI‘s Public Notice:

1. The Justice (Retd.) R. M. Lodha Committee (the “Committee”) has been receiving queries about why they haven’t received the initial PACL certificates requested via SMS because their mobile number has changed. Several investors have claimed that the mobile numbers given for online claim filing were no longer functional.

2. Accordingly, the Committee has now provided the following facilities to investors/applicants of PACL Ltd. on the web portal www.sebipaclrefund.co.in.

a) Facility for changing/updating mobile numbers on the Enquiry and Refund portal: Investors/applicants of PACL Ltd. can now update/ registered mobile numbers online on the web portal.

b) Facility to enquire whether SMS has been sent to the investors calling for original PACL Certificate: Investors/applicants with claims between Rs. 10,001/-and Rs. 15,000/-can now check on the web portal whether SMS has been sent to their registered mobile numbers for submission of original PACL Certificates.

3. Detailed step-by-step process to be followed for updating mobile number on the portal and to enquire whether SMS has been sent calling for original PACL Certificate, is available on the web portal.
