UPSC NDA 2023: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) released NDA Notification for the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA). The Application window is open from December 21, 2022 to January 10, 2023. As per the UPSC NDA 2023 notification, there are 395 vacancies.
Union Public Service Commission conducts the NDA exam twice a year for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the National Defence Academy. The candidates applying for the examination should ensure that they fulfil all the eligibility conditions for admission to the Examination. Their admission at all the stages of the examination will be purely provisional subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions.
Indian citizens are eligible to apply. To apply for the post the candidate should be born after 02nd July 2004 and before 1st July 2007. For National Defence Academy (NDA), both males and females can apply and for Naval Academy (NA) only males can apply.
The candidates can withdraw their application for the Examination and the detailed instructions in this regard are mentioned in Appendix – II B of this Examination Notice. This withdrawal window shall be available to the candidates, after 7 days of the closure of the application window of this examination and it will remain open for 7 days from the date of opening of the same. This withdrawal window will run concurrently with the above correction window i.e. from 18.01.2023 to 24.01.2023.
An Examination will be conducted by the Union Public Service Commission on 16th April 2023 for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the NDA for the 151st Course and for the 113th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) commencing from 2nd January 2024.

As per the official notification, to apply for the post the candidate should be born after 02nd July 2004 and before 1st July 2007.
For the Army Wing of the National Defence Academy:
The candidate should be a 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy:
The candidate should be a 12th Class pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
The application fee for General / OBC candidates is 100. SC / ST candidates and female candidates are exempt from the application fee.
Candidates are required to apply online by using the official website. It is essential for the applicant to register himself/ herself first at the One Time Registration (OTR) platform, available on the Commission’s website, and then proceed for filling up the online application for the examination. OTR has to be registered only once in a lifetime. This can be done anytime throughout the year. If the candidate is already registered, he/she can proceed straightway for filling up the online application for the examination.
