UPSC Recruitment 2022: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has invited applications from eligible candidates for the Archivist (General), Specialist Grade III (Paediatrics) and Scientist ‘B’ (Neutron Activation Analysis) posts. The age limit to apply is between 30 years to 40 years. The salary will be between Rs. 47600 to Rs. 208700 per month. As per the UPSC Recruitment 2022 Notification, there are 19 vacancies for these posts.
Candidates must apply online through the UPSC’s Official website. Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 25 (Rupees Twenty five) only either by remitting the money in any branch of the SBI by cash or by using the net banking facility of the SBI or by using visa/master credit/ debit card. No fee for SC/ ST/ PwBD/ Women candidates of any community. No “fee exemption” is available to Gen/ OBC/ EWS male candidates and they are required to pay the full prescribed fee. Applications received through any other mode would not be accepted and summarily rejected. The last date to apply is 29.12.2022.

Archivist (General)
The candidate should have,
Qualification
Master’s Degree in History with a paper in Modern Indian History from a recognized university or institute.
Desired Qualification
i. English as one of the subjects of study at the degree level
ii. Diploma or Certificate in Computer Applications or Information Technology
iii. Certificate of proficiency from a recognized university or institute in foreign or other Indian languages besides the candidate’s mother tongue.
Experience
(i) Diploma in Archives and Record Management from a recognized university or institute and two years experience in an Archives Office in a supervisory capacity or research or teaching of Modern Indian History at the undergraduate level in a recognized institution or university Or
(ii) Three years experience in an Archives Office in a supervisory capacity or research or teaching of Modern Indian History at the undergraduate level in a recognized educational institution or university.
Specialist Grade III (Paediatrics)
The candidate should have,
Qualification
(i) A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, (102 of 1956). Holder of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956).
(ii) Post-graduate Degree or Diploma in the concerned specialty or Super-speciality mentioned in Section-A or Section-B in Schedule VI of CHS Rules, 2014 and CHS amendment Rules 2019 i.e. Doctor of Medicine(Pediatrics) or Diplomate National Board (Pediatrics) or Diploma in Pediatrics or Diploma in Child Health.
Experience
Three years experience in the concerned Speciality or super-specialty after obtaining the first Post-graduate degree or 5 years experience after obtaining the Post-graduate Diploma.
Scientist ‘B’ (Neutron Activation Analysis)
The candidate should have,
Qualification
Master’s degree in Chemistry or Physics or Forensic Science with Chemistry or Physics as one of the subjects during all three years of Bachelor of Science from a recognized University or Institute.
Desired Qualification
One year experience of working in a Forensic Science Laboratory under the Central or State Government or Union Territory administration after obtaining the minimum prescribed educational qualifications.
Experience
Three years experience of in analytical methods and research therein in the field of Neutron Activation Analysis from a government-recognized organization or institution.
