UPSC Recruitment 2023: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has invited Applications from Retired/Retiring by Instantaneous 30.04.2023 for Engagement/Appointment on Consultant Private Secretary (PS)/Personal Assistant (PA) Positions on a Contractual Basis within the Commission itself through UPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification. Based on the UPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, Dated 13.04.2023, there are 12 Vacancies to be filled up with Appointment of the Appropriate Candidates on the Consultant Private Secretary/Personal Assistant Post.
According to the UPSC Recruitment 2023 Office Recruitment, Deemed to be Eligible from Amongst Both Retired or Set to Retire by the 30.04.2023 for Contractual Engagement as Consultant Private Secretary/Personal Assistant may apply as per the Instructions expressed vide the USPC Recruitment 2023 Notification issued for the purpose.
In view of the UPSC Recruitment, 2023 Notification explained, the Willing Eligible Candidate deemed to have satisfied the Eligibility Criteria for the Consultant Post may apply accordingly. The Last Date for such Eligible and Willing Candidates shall terminate on 30.04.2023.
As per the UPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, there are 12 Vacancies to be filled up:
Designation: Consultant Personal Secretary/Personal Assistant
Vacancy: 12 Posts
According to the UPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement, the Monthly Remuneration for the Candidates selected as Consultant PS/PA shall be as follows:
Monthly Remuneration: Parent Pay/Basic Pay (Minus Pension Sum at the time of Retirement) Plus TA @ Applicable to Him/Her at Retirement Time vide the UPSC Recruitment 2023 Notification issued.
Must not have exceeded 62 Years.
The UPSC Recruitment 2023 reads that the Applicant must not have attained 62 Years as on 02.02.2023, the Normal Closing Date of Application Submission.
According to the UPSC Recruitment 2023 Notification issued, the Candidate
i) should have retired from the Rank of Private Secretary (PS)/Personal Assistant (PA) Or Equivalent from any Ministry/Department of Government of India.
ii) should have the Working Knowledge of Computer Applications in the Day-to-day functioning of the Office with a Proficiency in Computer-Based English Typewriting.
UPSC Consultant PS PA Engagement Eligibility
The Union Public Service Commission, subsequent to completing the Screening Process of the Applications received from the Candidates will carry out the Shortlisting Process in respect of the Potential Candidates to be summoned for appearing in the Selection Process. As has been mentioned in the UPSC Recruitment 2023 Advertisement, Stenography, and Computer-Based Transcription as well as the Computer-Based Typewriting Test is likely to be conducted for assessing the Candidate’s Proficiency.
Note: The Selected Candidates shall be appointed/engaged as Consultants on a par with/Equivalent to the Private Secretary (PS)/Personal Assistant (PA) Post.
