Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2023: The Office of Deputy Secretary, Ministry of Defence, Government of India, New Delhi has sought Applications from Civilian Officers and Service Officers Eligible for 01 Deputationist Post Director (Planning & Coordination) in the Directorate of Planning & Coordination under the Department of Defence Production (DDP), Ministry of Defence vide the Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2023 Official Vacancy Circular Dated 6th June 2023.  The Ministry of Defence Official Vacancy Circular has arisen for the Deputations Post Director (Planning & Coordination) with 01 Vacancy for Posting in the Pay Level 13/14 with NFU (Non-Functional Upgradation) Grade has to be filled up by Deputation Basis vide the Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2023 Official Vacancy Notice Dated 06.06.2023.

According to the Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2023, Official Vacancy Notice occurred for Director (P&C) Post, the Terminus Date is 45th Date from the Date of Issuance of this Office Memorandum with Tantamount Vacancy to be filled up in Pay Scale 13/14 with NFU Grade for Appointment on Deputation Basis for a Fixed 05 Years’ Tenure. Based on the Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2023 Office Memorandum, amongst the Eligible Officers, those Willing to be Applicants must complete the Application Submission as per the Prescribed Specimen Proforma.

According to the Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2023 Official Vacancy Circular for Director (Planning & Control) Post, the Last Date for completion of the Application Submission in the Prescribed Specimen Proforma through ‘Proper Channel’ by the Eligible Officers will terminate on the 45 Date, i.e., 21.07.2023. Based on the Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement, Willing and Eligible Officers for the Director (Planning & Control) Post may have their Applications vetted and duly verified by their Respective Cadre Controlling Authority/Administrative Officer(s) ensuring Timely Acknowledgment of their Applications Not Later than the Terminal Date 21.07.2023. 

*Note: The Applicant Officer should be holding the Regular/Substantive Post of Brigadier/Air Commodore/Commodores from the Indian Army, Indian Air Force and Indian Navy respectively.

Pay Scale under Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2023:

Based on the Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Officer post-appointment shall be entitled to the Monthly Salary under Pay Matrix Level explained hereunder

Pay Matrix: Level 13/14 (with NFU Grade)

The Terms of Deputation, including the Pay and Allowances, except Leave, shall be governed by the Provisions laid down in the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) Office Memorandum No. 06/08/2009-Establishment (Pay-II) Dated 17th June 2010 and other Orders/Guidelines issued in this regard at times. Leave of the Officer On Deputation shall be regulated by the UIDAI Leave Rule.

The pay and other conditions of service of the Selected Officers (Civilian Officers) will be regulated in accordance with DoP&T (Department of Personnel & Training) Office Memorandum No. 2/29/91-Estt(Pay-II) Dated 5th January 1994, as amended from time to time.

Maximum Age Limit for Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2023:

Based on the Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2023 Vacancy Notice the Maximum Age Limit as on the Closing Date (21.07.2023) for receipt of Application for the Eligible Officer should be aged as follows.

Age Limit: Not to exceed 55 Years

Eligibility for Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2023:

According to the Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2023 Official Notification the Eligibility including Educational Qualifications, Post-Qualification Experience, etc. specific to the Post, shall remain as hereunder:

Civilian Officers:

I) The Officers of the All-India Services or Central Civil Services (Group ‘A’) holding Analogous Posts;

(Or)

II) Officers holding Analogous Posts in the Defence Research & Development Service, Indian Ordnance Factories Service (IOFS), Directorate General of Quality Assurance (DGQA) & Defence Forces’ Service (DFS) Officers.

Service Officers:

I) The Officers holding Substantive Post of Brigadier/Air Commodore/Commodore from the Indian Army, Indian Air Force, and Indian Navy, respectively.

Note: The Officer applying for the Notified Deputationist Post must have 05 Years’ Residual Service with effect from the Date of Issuance of this Vacancy Circular.

Selection Procedure under Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2023:

The Selection Procedure for Director (Planning & Control) Post shall involve Viva-voce/Personal Interaction as explained in the Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2023. The Officers to be called in for Viva-voce shall be shortlisted on the basis of the Eligibility Criteria including Serving  Experience, etc. The Candidates would be shortlisted on the basis of the Eligibility Criteria. Only Shortlisted Candidates shall be called in for Personal Interviews/ Interaction.

The Officers already holding Analogous Posts in the Parent Cadre/Department may be given Preference in Selection.

Deputation Terms: The Deputation Tenure of Director (Planning & Coordination) shall ordinarily not exceed 05 Years which may be extended in Public Interest as per Rules on the Subject.

Application Procedure for Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2023:

Based on the Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, Intending Eligible Candidates with Interest in the Post of Director (Planning & Control), should apply to the Ministry of Defence in the Prescribed Application Proforma (Annexure-I), accompanying the Photocopies of Preceding 05 Years’ Annual Confidential Reports/Annual Performance Appraisal Reports.

The Willing Applicants may submit their respective Applications duly vetted through Proper Channel up to 21.07.2023.

*Note: The Eligible and Willing Officers should apply with Photocopies of the Preceding 05-Years’ ACRs/APARs.
