Ministry of Civil Aviation Recruitment 2023: The Ministry of Civil Aviation is seeking suitable individuals for the positions of Deputy Director Chief Flight, Senior Flight, Flight (Operations Inspector (Aeroplane)), and Flight Operations Inspector (Helicopter). Based on the official notification of the Ministry of Civil Aviation Recruitment 2023, the person applying cannot be more than 58 years old on the application’s closing date. For FOIs in various categories with at least 02 years of experience in the last five (05) years, the upper age limit is relaxed for a term of 05 years.

As informed in the official notification of the Ministry of Civil Aviation Recruitment 2023, there are 52 open positions for the aforementioned positions. The chosen individuals would be given a monthly salary of up to Rs. 9,30,100. Their continuation of engagement following the completion of each year will be subject to the DGCA’s requirements, compliance with the provisions specified in the Terms and Conditions, satisfactory performance throughout the year, and approval of the Competent Authority. As given in the official notification of the Ministry of Civil Aviation Recruitment 2023, the applicants will be chosen based on an interview. A Scrutiny Committee will review the applications, and those who fulfil/meet the fundamental requirements for the positions for which they applied will be shortlisted and called for document verification and interview. Qualification for Ministry of Civil Aviation Recruitment 2023:

In accordance with the official notification of the Ministry of Civil Aviation Recruitment 2023, the candidates required educational and technical requirements are mentioned below:

Educational Requirement-

  • The candidates should have passed 10+2 or higher qualifications like Graduation or Post Graduation etc. with Physics and Mathematics as subjects from a recognized Board or University Institute.

Technical Requirement-

For Deputy Chief Flight Operations Inspector-

Essential-

  • The candidates should have a valid Indian Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) issued by DGCA on Civil Aircraft used for Air Transport.
  • The candidates should be a Pilot in Command Rating (PIC) on Civil Aircraft used for Air Transport with All Up Weight (AUW) above 5700 Kgs.
  • The candidates should have valid Instrument Rating (IR) and Pilot Proficiency Check (PPC) on Civil Aircraft used for Air Transport endorsed on licence.
  • The candidates should have total flying experience of not less than 6500 hours on Aircraft, out of which not less than 5000 hours as PIC on Civil Aircraft used for Air Transport.
  • The candidates should have a valid Class I Medical Assessment issued by DGCA and in case of any limitation, it will be subject to the approval of the Medical Directorate of DGCA.
  • The candidates should have open Ratings for all types of Aeroplanes having all up weights not exceeding 5700 Kgs, issued by DGCA. In case the applicant does not possess an Open Rating, she/he may apply it in DGCA before the last date of submission of the online application and submit proof thereof along with the physical application.
  • The candidates should have a current examiner on Civil Aircraft used for Air Transport approved by DGCA. 8) Accident-free record in the preceding five years from the date of application. (In case a record for the complete period is not available, a self-declaration for the same may be submitted).
  • The candidates should not have BA positive during the last three years. (A self-declaration for the same be submitted, especially for pilots who were flying abroad.).
  • NOC from parent employer, if any.

Desirable-

  • The candidates should have graduated in Engineering or a Master’s Degree in Science from a recognized University or institute.

For Flight Operations Inspector (Helicopter)-

Essential-

  • The candidate should have a Commercial Pilot’s Licence (Helicopter) issued by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation India with a current Pilot-InCommand rating on a Civil Helicopter.
  • The candidates should have a total experience of not less than 3000 hours, out of which not less than 1500 hours as Pilotin-Command on helicopters.
  • The candidates should have a valid Class I Medical Assessment issued by DGCA and in case of any limitation, it will be subject to the approval of the Medical Directorate of DGCA. Accident and incident-free record for the last 5 years from the date of application (in case a record for the complete period is not available a self-declaration for the same may be submitted).
  • The candidates should not be BA positive during the last three years (a self-declaration for the same be submitted, especially for pilots who were flying abroad). 6) NOC from parent employer, if any.

Desirable

  • The candidates should have a valid Instrument Rating (IR) and Pilot Proficiency Check (PPC) on the Civil Helicopter endorsed on the Licence.
  • The candidates should have qualified as an examiner or instructors approved by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation on a civil helicopter or have been qualified flight instructors (QFI) from Defense Services.
  • The candidates should have graduated in Engineering or a Master’s Degree in Science from a recognized University or institute.

Age Limitation for Ministry of Civil Aviation Recruitment 2023:

As given in the official notification of the Ministry of Civil Aviation Recruitment 2023, the applicant’s age limit shall not exceed 58 years on the closing date of receipt of the application. The upper age limit is relaxable up to five years for FOIs in various categories who have experience of a minimum of 02 years in the last five (05) years in the DGCA.

Tenure for Ministry of Civil Aviation Recruitment 2023:

Based on the official notification of the Ministry of Civil Aviation Recruitment 2023, their continuity of engagement after the completion of every year will be subject to the requirements of the DGCA, fulfilment of the provisions contained in the Terms and Conditions, satisfactory performance during the year and with the approval of the Competent Authority.

  • Complete the original logbook (at the time of document verification).
  • Details of total flying experience in the form of CA 39 duly attested by the authorized signatory of the employer (Self-attested, in case of unemployed).
  • Valid Class I Medical assessment and in case of any limitation it will be subject to the approval of the Medical Directorate of DGCA.
  • Valid Instrument Rating (IR) and Pilot Proficiency Check (PPC) endorsed on Licence.
  • Documents in support of open rating, if any.
  • Documents in support of current Examiner/Instructor/Check pilot/QFI or QFI (in category A) from Defence Service.
  • Supporting documents for Accident and Incident records in the preceding 05 years from the date of application (in case a record for the complete period is not available a self-declaration for the same may be submitted).
  • Supporting documents, if any, in support of not being BA positive during the last three years (a self-declaration for the same be submitted, especially for pilots who were flying abroad.).
  • NOC from parent employer, if any.
  • Caste Certificate (for SC/ST/OBC candidates only).
  • Any other documents considered relevant/necessary.

Mode of Selection for Ministry of Civil Aviation Recruitment 2023:

In accordance with the official notification of the Ministry of Civil Aviation Recruitment 2023, the candidate’s selection will be based on an interview. The applications will be examined by a Scrutiny Committee, and candidates who fulfil/meet the essential requirements for the positions for which she/he applied will be shortlisted and called for document verification and interview.
