Massive Tax Evasion Uncovered in Rajasthan’s Marble City During DGGI Raid
The Directorate General of GST Intelligence (DGGI) has conducted a major raid in the marble hub of Kishangarh, Rajasthan, uncovering tax evasion worth crores. Since the morning of Friday, September 12, 2025, DGGI teams have been stationed in the area, intensifying their investigation. Six separate teams from Jaipur and Udaipur launched simultaneous operations targeting multiple businesses and transporters involved in the marble trade.
During the investigation, one company named Drom Marble is accused of creating fake companies in the name of Labourers and small contractors and issuing bills worth crores of rupees. The company was doing tax evasion via bills, and now those bills have been caught by the investigators. The team is currently examining the documents, digital data and account books.
However, this case is new, but old connections are being disclosed. Previously, DGGI had raided the Kishangarh Marble Area, where they raided the hiding places of Narendra Chaudhary, Hansraj Gurhar, Balveer Chaudhary and Bharat. In that case, Balveer and Bharat are still escaping. Meanwhile, new individuals have been identified through seized documents and WhatsApp chats, and authorities are preparing to take action against them.
The operation, which began in the morning, is expected to continue into the late evening hours. The team will first confirm the bills and transactions. The estimated recovery amount will be disclosed thereafter. This unexpected raid in the marble region is getting a lot of attention from businesspeople. Officials believe the recovered amount will be in crores, potentially uncovering a big tax evasion ring.
