Age Limits for APSC Recruitment 2023:

The Candidates Applicant should fulfill the Upper Age Limits Criterion as hereunder:

Upper Age Limits (As on 01.01.2022):

a) The Un-Reserved Category Candidates: Minimum 21 Years Maximum 38 Years

b) Relaxation in the Upper Age Limits for Reserved Community Candidates as per the Government of India Rules.

Educational Qualification for APSC Recruitment 2023:

The Candidates Applicant for the Opted/Applied Posts should have in possession Educational Qualification as explained hereunder:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from any of the Universities incorporated by an Act of Central or State Legislature in India or other Educational Institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be Deemed as a University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act 1956 or such Qualification as may be declared Equivalent by the Government.

Desired: The Candidate should be

i) able to speak Assamese or other Official Language or Associate Official Languages of the State or any of the Tribal Dialect of the State.

ii) registered in a District Employment 0ffice of Assam.

iii) The Candidate must be an Original Inhabitant of Assam)

Recruitment Methodology for APSC 2023:

The Assam Public Service Commission shall carry through the Selection Process consisting of 03 Stages as follows:

Recruitment Name: Combined Competitive Recruitment Examination 2022

Stage 1: Objective Type Preliminary Examination consisting 0f 02 Papers for Maximum 400 Marks with Negative Marking involved;

Stage 2: Main Written Examination comprising 06 Papers. 1st Paper for Maximum 250 Marks would be Common to all the Posts. 2nd to 6th Papers for 1250 Marks (each for 250 Marks)

Stage 3: Personality Test/Personal Interview for 275 Marks as has been notified vide the APSC Recruitment 2023 Advertisement.

Final Selection based on the Combined Competitive Examination 2022 shall be carried out by drawing up Merit by reckoning the Candidates’ Marks obtained in aggregate out of 1775 Marks allocated to both Main Written Examination and Personality Test respectively.

Selection Process for APSC Recruitment 2023:

Selection to all the Posts notified vide APSC Recruitment 2023 consists of 03 Stages; viz., Stage I: Preliminary Examination; Stage II: Main (Conventional) Examination and Stage III: Personality Test/Personal Interview.

The Assam Public Service Commission shall host on 26th March 2023 (26.03.2023) a Common Preliminary Examination of the Combined Competitive Examination 2O22 aimed to screening the Candidates for the Main Examination for Recruitment to the Services/Posts according to actual number of Vacancies in accordance with the Assam Public Services Combined Competitive Examination Rules 1989 (as amended till 2022).

Examination Fee for APSC Recruitment 2023:

Requisite Examination Fee to be remitted through Payment Gateways (Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking, etc.

i) Open Category/General Merit Candidates: Rs. 297.20

ii) Economically Weaker Section Candidates: Rs. 297.20

iii) Reserved (SC/ST/OBC/MOBC) Candidates: Rs. 197.20

iv) BPL/PwBDs Candidates: Rs. 47.20

v) Women: Rs.47.20

How to Apply for APSC Recruitment 2023:

The Assam Public Service Commission shall conduct on 26th March 2023 (26.03.2023) a Common Preliminary Examination of the Combined Competitive Examination 2022 as is mentioned in the APSC Recruitment 2023.

Eligible Candidates are required to apply for Preliminary Examination online through the website apscrecruitment.in Only. No Other Mode of Submission of the Application is Valid.
