DMRC Recruitment 2023: The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) Ltd is a joint venture company with equal equity participation from the Government of India and the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi. DMRC has been tasked with the responsibility of implementing a rail-based mass rapid transit system for Delhi-NCR. With about 14,500 employees, the DMRC has a unique work culture that nurtures its employees and carries about three million passengers daily in Delhi and NCR. The organization is also involved in providing consultancy services to various cities within India and abroad. DMRC is looking to fill the position of Dean for the Delhi Metro Rail Academy (DMRA) on a direct recruitment basis. The selected candidate may be taken on board earlier for ease of knowledge transfer (KT).
As per DMRC Recruitment 2023 official notification, the Dean at DMRA will be responsible for managing, designing, and conducting courses for internal and external clients, including international clients. The incumbent will have to reshape and re-design the academy as a state-of-the-art training institute of international stature. Applicants for the post must have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or Electronics and Communications Engineering from a Government-recognized University/Institute. They must also have a Master’s in Business Administration or the relevant discipline, which is a desirable qualification.

Essential Experience: The candidate must have worked for at least 20/25 years in a Group ‘A’ service in the Indian Railways, including the period spent on deputation.
Work experience: The candidate must have worked or currently working in a premier training institute of the Indian Railways and have relevant academic experience.
Management experience: The candidate must have experience in managing a centralized training institute or academy, such as IRICEN, IRIEEN, IRIMEE, IRITM, NAIR, etc.
Officer Level: The position is open for officers working in Non-Functional (HAG/SAG) positions.
It is important to note that the eligibility criteria are as of 01/04/2023, and may be subject to change in the future.
As per DMRC Recruitment 2023 official notification, the pay and emoluments for the position will be as per the pay scales under the IDA (Industrial DA) applicable at the time. The list of shortlisted candidates will be uploaded on the DMRC website in the first week of May 2023. The interview will be held in the second week of May 2023 at Metro Bhawan, Barakhamba Road, New Delhi, or through online mode. The complete details regarding the interview will be displayed on the DMRC website, and no separate communication will be sent to the candidates individually.
The final result will be declared by the last week of May 2023 (tentatively). Candidates are advised to regularly check the DMRC website for any updates or changes in the schedule.
