EPFO has extended deadline for EPF members to link their Aadhaar numbers to their UANs in order to file ECRs (Electronic Challan Cumulative Returns) till 31 March 2024.

EPFO extends Timeline for Linking of Aadhaar with UAN of EPF members; Check Details
The Employee Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has extended the deadline for EPF members to link their Aadhaar numbers to their Universal Account Numbers (UANs) in order to file ECRs (Electronic Challan Cumulative Returns) till 31 March 2024.
Via Circular EPFO notified this and it stated as:-
"In partial modification of the circular dated 01.04.2022 under reference, the Competent Authority has granted an extension for mandatory seeding of Aadhaar for filing of ECR up to 31.03.2024 in respect of the certain class of establishments i.e. Beedi making, Building and Construction and Plantation Industries (Tea, Coffee, Cardamom, Pepper, Jute, Rubber, Cinchona, Cashewnuts etc.) and for North Eastern Region comprising of States of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland & Tripura."
To Link Aadhaar with UAN, they can visit the EPFO website, the nearest EPFO office or use the UMANG app and link Aadhaar with EPF account. However, you must follow the steps mentioned below to do the same.
How to Link Aadhaar with EPF Account:
Step 1: Visit the EPFO Member home page or e-SEWA portal. Step 2: After logging in, navigate to the “All Services Tab” and select “EPFO.” Step 3: In the EPFO section, select “e-KYC services.” Step 4: Select the Aadhaar Seeding option under “e-KYC services.” Step 5: Now enter your UAN and press the “Get OTP” button.
