By Composite Method: Deputation/Promotion Basis:
Specific Requirements: Officers under the Central Government/State Government/Union Territories:
i) Holding Analogous on a Regular Basis Or Equivalent; Or
ii) With 05 Years’ Service in the Grade rendered post-Appointment thereto on a Regular Basis in the Pay Level-09/Level 10 or Equivalent in the Pay Matrix in the Parent Cadre/Department; Or
iii) With 06 Years’ Regular Service in the Grade rendered post-Appointment thereto on a Regular Basis in the Pay Level-08 in the Pay Matrix in the Parent Cadre/Department; Or
iv) With 07 Years’ Regular Service in the Grade rendered post-Appointment thereto on a Regular Basis in the Pay Level-07 in the Pay Matrix in the Parent Cadre/Department; With the Educational Qualification and Experience explained hereunder:
Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree in Library Science/Library & Information Science from the Accredited University; With
Desirable:
i) 01 Year’s Professional Experience of Computerizing Library Activities in any Library under the Central Government/State Government/Autonomous Or Statutory Organization/Public Sector Sector Undertaking/Accredited University/Accredited Research Or Educational Institution.
ii) 01 Year’s Professional Experience in Digitization of Library Records.
iii) Diploma in Computer Application from any Duly Recognized University/Institute.
As may be referred to the Ministry of Finance Recruitment 2023 Official Memo Selection for Deputationist Appointment on the Library & Information Officer Post shall be carried out by a By Composite Method: Deputation/Promotion Basis.
The Period of Deputation Including the Deputation Period in another Ex-Cadre Post held immediately preceding this Appointment in the same or some other Organization/Department of the Central Government, shall ordinarily not exceed 04 Years notified thereby.
