NIT Uttarakhand Recruitment 2023: The National Institute of Technology, Uttarakhand (NITUK) has invited Applications for filling up 03 Faculty Posts for Temporary Contractual Engagement in the Social Sciences and English in the Departments of Humanities & Social Sciences and Computer Science and Engineering for Odd Semester of Academic Year 2023-2024 vide the NIT Uttarakhand Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement Dated 05.08.2023. The NIT Uttarakhand Recruitment 2023 Official Vacancy Notice has occurred for 03 Posts with 04 Vacancies to be filled up Purely on Contractual Bases. According to the NITUK Recruitment 2023 Official Vacancy Notice, the Candidates fulfilling the Eligibility specific to notified 03 Posts mandates the Willing and Eligible Candidates to apply to complete their respective Applications in the Prescribed Specimen Proforma. Such candidates should fill in the Applications as per the prescribed Application Proforma. 01) Teaching Faculty (Social Sciences, Sociology, Economics, Psychology, Management): 01 Vacancy
02) Teaching Faculty (English ): 01 Vacancy
03) Teaching Faculty (Computer Science and Engineering): 02 Vacancies
Appointment Term: Odd Semester of Academic year 2023-2024
Based on the NIT Uttarakhand Recruitment 2023 Official Vacancy Notice, post-Selection, the Monthly Salary/ies to accrue to the Candidates in the National Institute of Technology shall be as has been narrated hereunder:
I) Ph.D. (Philosophiae Doctor) Candidates: Rs 70,000.00 Per Month
II) Post Graduate (M.E. / M. Tech.) Candidates: Rs 45,000.00 Per Month
The Eligibility comprising the Educational Qualification among others for Junior Research Fellow AND Project Associate Posts are as follows:
01) Faculty [Social Science and English (HSS) Department] Post:
Essential Qualification: Ph.D. (Doctor Philosophiae) in respective discipline with 1st Class [60% marks or (CGPA 6.5/10) at both Bachelor’s Degree/Under-Graduate and Post-Graduate Level from any duly recognized University/Institute.
Desirable: Preference shall be given to the candidates having Ph.D. from NITs/IITs/CF University/Institutes
02) Faculty (Computer Science and Engineering) Post:
Essential Qualification: Ph.D. (Philosophiae Doctor) in respective Engineering discipline with First Class [60% Marks or CGPA 6.5/10) at both Bachelor’s Degree/Under-Graduate (B.Engg./B. Tech.) in CSE/IT and Post Graduate (M.E. /M. Tech.) in CSE/IT from any duly recognized University/ Institute.
Desirable: Preference shall be given to the candidates having Ph.D. from NITs/IITs/CF University/Institutes
Selection for the Faculty Posts involves Personal Interaction. Selection for both Posts shall be carried out through Interviews. Appropriately Suitable Candidates selected on the Faculty Posts would is issued Appointments for Contractual Engagement for the Odd Semester of the Academic Year 2023-2024.
The Candidates, post-selection for the opted Posts, will be paid Consolidated Monthly Emoluments based on the prescribed Qualifications prescribed in the NIT Uttarakhand Recruitment 2023 Official Vacancy Circular.
